Study Of Contemporary College Students’ Social Morality Cultivation

Social morality is the moral code developed continuously in the long practice among the public human life practice, and is the most basic link in the construction of morality, also is the basic construction of spiritual civilization. The level of social morality not only determines the civilization degree of a nation and country, but also affects the formation of social morality and the degree of the healthy, orderly and harmonious development of human society. Along with China’s continuously growing economy and the rising status among the world, our citizens have been put forward higher standard of the social morality in the practice of socialist core values and under the guidance of realizing the strategic target of the great Chinese dream.As the era of wave riders, college students are a group of the main force in socialist construction with higher quality and higher culture as well as higher education. The degree of their moral cultivation and moral character have huge impact on building China into rich and powerful democratic civilization and harmonious society. As the battle position of fostering talents, it is a difficult strategic project for colleges and universities to ensure national stability and prosperity on how to grasp the direction of good morality cultivation development trend, and on how to solve the problems encountered in the cultivating practice, and on how to improve the effectiveness of morality cultivation promoting reform and innovation of morality cultivation to eventually develop the outstanding college students with both ability and political integrity. Work of college students’ social morality cultivation is a systematic project. The level of contemporary college students’ social morality in our country is positive as a whole, and the outlook is optimistic. However, with the reform of economy, the rapid development era, the advent of the era of new media network, all kinds of bad social ideological trends collide with each other, which would put significantly impact on some college students’ ideological and moral behavior. So it is imperative to strengthen social morality cultivation in colleges and universities, to fully integrate various strengths by schools, society, families and college students themselves and so on, and to effectively enhance and improve college students’ cultivation strategies of quality.There are five chapters in this article. Chapter one, introduction, which mainly introduces the background and significance of the thesis and has put forward the research logic and the research method. Chapter two, the core concepts and theoretical basis, which mainly discusses the core concepts and theoretical basis related to the contemporary college students’ social morality cultivation. Chapter three, the status quo of contemporary college students’ morality cultivation, which mainly reveals the cultivating existing problems, and analyses the causes starting from the basic situation of college students’ morality cultivation. Chapter four, the practice and enlightenment of foreign college students’ morality cultivation, which mainly chooses the cultivation practices of United States, Germany and Singapore, and draws relevant enlightenment for college students’ morality cultivation in our country for reference. Chapter five, the strategies of strengthening the contemporary college students’ social morality cultivation, which mainly puts forward the countermeasures to improve the level of social morality cultivation from the aspects of school, society, families and college students themselves.
