In March 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the opinion on deepening Curriculum Reform in an all-round way to implement the fundamental Task of setting up a Tree of Virtue,and explicitly proposed the need to study and formulate a core literacy system and academic quality standards for the development of students.This is our country's first formal mention of "core literacy".The 19 th CPC National Congress once again stressed the need to fully implement the Party's educational policy and implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.Against this background,the Curriculum Standard of Geography in Senior High School(2017 Edition)was published in January 2018.It is clearly pointed out in the curriculum standard that the concept of human-land coordination,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice are the four core qualities of geography.Major aspects.As a guiding document of senior high school geography teaching,the new high school geography curriculum standard can reflect the national educational ideas and guidelines.It defines the objectives and contents of high school geography education,and is the embodiment of the national will in the field of education.This article is mainly through reading a large number of literature and core literacy,the ordinary senior high school geography curriculum standard(2017 edition)and questionnaire survey results analysis,combined with the author's own teaching experience,To explore the cultivation methods and strategies of "Regional Cognition",one of the core qualities of geography.Through the research and summary,finally from the perspective of teachers,the following training strategies are drawn:(1)renewing the concept of teacher education and strengthening the awareness of core literacy;(2)strengthening teachers' professional skills and enhancing teachers' professional competence;(3)rational selection of teaching contents and teaching methods;(4)Construction of the level of regional cognitive literacy development(5)pay attention to the hierarchical relationship of accomplishment and follow the progressive principle;(6)teach the skills of reading maps and the way of learning regional geography;(7)encourage students to explore practical cases on their own.Then starting from the training strategy,the teaching design of regional geography is carried out,which provides reference advice for the teaching design of other contents and other subjects of geography in senior high school.
