In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Lide Shuren",which clearly proposed to build a core literacy concept,the junior high school geography curriculum standards require the implementation of the core literacy concept into teaching practice and examination evaluation,regional geography as the main content of junior high school geography,has a basic and leading role,and the regional cognitive literacy embodied in it is the fundamental idea guiding geography teaching research and geography teaching practice activities.However,there are some problems in the actual teaching of regional geography,resulting in students not being able to systematically grasp the learning methods of regional geography,which restricts the development of regional cognitive literacy of junior high school students to some extent.In this paper,we use literature research method,statistical analysis method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case analysis method to study the composition,cultivation status and improvement strategies of regional cognitive literacy of junior high school students,and draw the following conclusions:(1)Through questionnaire survey and teacher interview method,the current situation of regional cognitive literacy training of junior high school students was understood,and the survey concluded: Some teachers have a low grasp of regional cognitive connotation;the implementation of regional cognition in teaching is not enough,ignoring the teaching objectives and teaching activity design based on core literacy;some teachers have a single teaching method and lack of diversified teaching;in terms of teaching content,they emphasize the characteristics of positioning and neglecting to cultivate students' regional comparison and regional development capabilities.The main problems in students' regional cognition are: the overall cognitive ability is low;the ability to read and analyze maps is weak,and the ability to comprehensively analyze geographical elements on the map is low;the learning methods are not mastered by relying on textbooks and teachers;the regional comparison ability is weak and lack spatial perception;the knowledge points are scattered and the structural system is incomplete.(2)According to the requirements of geography curriculum standards and combined with the actual situation of education,this paper proposes the following suggestive regional cognitive literacy training strategies: strengthen the penetration of ideas,build literacy classrooms,and improve teachers' regional cognitive literacy;diversify teaching and stimulate learning interest;strengthen map teaching and improve map literacy;pay attention to regional cognitive balance teaching,strengthen regional contrast and development;build mind maps,and build cognitive frameworks.(3)Through the teaching case analysis method,the content of the seventh and eighth grade geography textbooks of the human-taught version is selected,and two teaching activity cases are designed to verify the feasibility of the regional cognitive cultivation strategy in this paper.The experimental conclusion was drawn: the cultivation strategy of this paper better mobilized the initiative and enthusiasm of students,and the content of the activities was from shallow to deep,and it had enlightening and exploratory significance,which was in line with the students' cognitive laws and effectively improved the efficiency of the classroom.
