Case Study Of The Impact Of Holistic Care On The Quality Of Life Of Cancer Patients

This article takes a cancer patient in C city as the research object,carries out the whole-person care intervention service,and carries on the practical exploratory research by the method of case study.Its purpose is to face the fear and despair of cancer,to treat cancer patients at the psychosocial level,to explore the advantages and functions of whole-person care,and to reflect on the problems of whole-person care intervention in cancer patients at this stage,and to put forward development countermeasures.Within four months,the author participated in and intervened in the case service of a cancer patient,collected first-hand practical data,and conducted academic research and analysis.Before the intervention,the author studied the predicament of cancer patients in our country and 15 cancer patients in oncology department of several major hospitals in C city,and analyzed it.In the intervention process,the author actively mobilized and integrated the corresponding social resources according to the specific circumstances of the patient's age and needs,through the intervention of physiology,psychology,society and spirituality.The quality of life of the case-holder has been changed positively.Ultimately,help patients to establish a correct concept of treatment,enhance the ability of patients to actively face the disease,improve the quality and significance of patients' life.Through this case intervention,the author made a professional reflection on the ethical dilemma in case intervention,the advantages and realistic dilemma of whole-person care intervention for cancer patients.In addition,the author also puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the future development of whole-person care: strengthening the professional ability of social workers,dealing with the role of social workers,improving the social support network of the case owners,strengthening social propaganda and education,etc.
