Study On The Effectiveness Of College Counselors' Ideological And Political Education Based On Students' Acquisition

The ideological and political education provided by college counselors is an important part of ideological and political education of college students in China.Actual effect is the vitality and value of college ideological and political education,as well as a significant measurement to check its effectiveness.The study about the effectiveness of college counselors' ideological and political education is based on existing research findings combined with the author's surveys and personal working experience as a college counselor.It starts at students' acquisition for the purpose of providing some enlightenment for the theoretical research and practice in the future.By means of literature research and empirical analysis,this article investigates the present situation and various factors related to students' acquisition of counselors' ideological and political education.The study illustrates that most students can learn more about ideology and politics to improve personal ability and cultivate the same sense of value.Generally,college students think highly of counselors' ideological and political education.However,some students still lack confidence in theory as well as identity of socialism with Chinese characteristics.According to the research,the effectiveness is influenced by qualities of counselors,students' characteristics and counselors' characteristics.Specifically,the effectiveness is connected with students being class monitors or not and the difference between grades.The age of counselor is another main factor.On the contrary,students' gender,schools,majors and political status have few influence on the effectiveness,nor do counselor's gender.Based on the data analytics,the author puts forward methods for counselors to promote students' acquisition from three aspects.Firstly,establish the concept of student-centered education,design a special education system and construct the evaluation standards to counselors.Secondly,improve counselors' ability,including possessing higher political quality,heightening professional ethics,enhancing theoretical ability,raising working capacity,and strengthening awareness of obeying rules.Thirdly,innovate their working methods as well as starting phased and focused education to promote the harmony relationships between counselors and students.
