With the rapid development of the national economy and the continuous improvement of the people's income level,the people's consumption capacity is constantly improving,especially for the education consumption.With the increasing acceptance of private education by the majority of parents,the demand for high-quality education is increasing in both quality and quantity.This demand led to the rapid development of its related private education industry,especially in the stage of basic education,in which the market scale of private primary and secondary education has been expanding in the fierce competition,becoming the backbone of the private education industry.Increasing private primary and secondary schools will focus on differentiated education,upgrade the service of educational products,and change to the characteristic education mode.This research took "Suzhou foreign language school" as an example(hereinafter referred to as "SFLS"),took "Research on differentiation strategy of SFLS" as the topic,analyzes and studies the current situation of SFLS,and designed a set of optimal development strategies to adapt to the changing market environment.Based on analysis tools of strategic management,such as PEST analysis,SWOT matrix,QSPM analysis and other analysis tools,as well as the relevant theories of strategic management,strategy formulation and differentiation strategy,it analyzed the internal and external environment of "SFLS" to explore the actual situation and existing competition in the development strategy of "SFLS" Competitors.Meanwhile,the SWOT matrix was used to analyze the current situation of the development strategy of "SFLS",and the existing problems in the process of school development are analyzed through questionnaires and in-depth interviews.Then use the QSPM decision-making tool to select and develop a practical and effective development strategy to solve these problems.It is determined that SFLS should adopt the SO development strategy,to formulate the differentiation strategy for SFLS,supported by brand differentiation,product differentiation,talent differentiation and group strategy,and put forward the guarantee of four dimensions: human resources,student quality,hardware and finance,so as to promote the realization of the overall strategic target of SFLS.As a typical representative of private primary and secondary schools,the research on the development strategy of SFLS provide reference for other similar private schools,further promote the development of private education industry in the whole Suzhou City and even the Yangtze River Delta region,and contribute to the integration of national education in higher quality.
