Research On Government Response To New Media Environment On Emergent Public Incidents

At present,with the rapid development of China's economy,social contradictions also emerge,and public crisis events begin to happen frequently,which brings many threats to the safety of people's life and property,as well as challenges to the crisis management of government public opinion.At the same time,new media represented by Internet,profoundly changed the traditional way of news and information spread,reshape the new pattern of the media ecology and transmission,and the influence of new media and information dissemination also presents new characteristics,the public's voice is a vast degree of satisfaction,public opinion is also a way to share the channel,but the public's view is diverse and rich,sometimes with the government's official views differ,so in this case,is likely to evolve into the problem of general mass incidents and even political problems,bring pressure to the government,and even affect the government's credibility and image.In early December 2017,the crisis of online public opinion guidance when the environmental protection building in Y city turned into an "ice sculpture building" was a case where local governments did not follow the rules of communication in the Internet era and the new media environment,did not dare to speak out,and spoke out passively,thus causing a large number of negative online public opinions and bringing negative impacts to the government's credibility and image.In this article,the author through the literature research,case study method and other methods to public opinion,new media,the government crisis management three key words to definition,analysis of the relationship between the theory and constructive government put forward under the new media age,the theoretical basis for deal with public crisis events,designed to effectively solve the public crisis in time for the government to provide countermeasure and the suggestion,and discusses the efficient method to circumvent the public opinion of the crisis,and for the government in the new media environment scientific and effective guide public opinion,avoid crisis of public opinion to provide theoretical guidance and practical basis.
