Now in China,the expansion of the scale of higher education has brought a lot of problems,quality requirements of higher education is at hand.Teachers' teaching behavior is one of the most key factors restricting the quality of higher education.Management psychology believes that teachers' job performance is equal to the product of the ability and incentive.Through the incentive mechanism to improve teachers' teaching practice and promote the professional development of teachers' teaching is one of the effective ways to solve the decline of teaching status in universities.This study takes N university as an example.At first,the author need to sort out relevant information about N university's teaching reward system.Using qualitative research methods.Catching teacher's view through in-depth interviews and data collection of way.Analyzing on the present situation of the implementation of the teaching reward system from the perspective of teachers.Based on the findings of the problem,we can propose some recommendations to improve the current incentive mechanism,and to ensure the quality of higher education.Through the investigation and study,the author found that the effect of the N university teaching reward system is not satisfactory.There are four main problems in the following:lack of motivation,teaching all comes from "self-consciousness";ex-a incentive to ex-post affirmation;reward content is difficult to meet the needs of the teaching professional development of teachers;teachers' teaching professional development space is limited.The author found that the reasons for the low incentive of the N university's teaching reward system are as follows:the working attitude of teachers is the key to influencing teaching behavior;the reward is less attractive for teachers;winning opportunity cost is too large;research-oriented culture of the school has restricted the development of the teaching profession;technology-oriented teacher evaluation system is not conducive to the development of the teaching profession;college managers do not get a comprehensive understanding of the incentive mechanism.Drawing lessons from the relevant experience of teaching reward system of foreign universities,the paper puts forward some reform strategies for the problems we found:enhancing intrinsic motivation and paying attention to stimulating teachers' self-discipline;increasing the amount of teaching awards and improving the intensity of incentives;enriching the ways of reward;establishing a comprehensive,scientific and reasonable teacher evaluation system;attaching importance to the management after the award and advancing the promotion and application of outstanding teaching achievements.
