The "Cultural Feedback" Of Wechat In Rural Families

Since modern times,the teaching phenomenon from the young generation to the older generation has appeared in society,namely "reverse socialization".Especially in the Internet society,the gap between the digital immigrants and the digital natives intensifies this phenomenon.Within the family,young generation teach parental people to use digital media.The domestic researchers proposed "cultural feedback" in modern society,to illustrate this phenomenon.In the Chinese rural family,children always teach their older parents to learn to use WeChat.The behavior called "cultural feedback" in the rural played an important role in the spread of WeChat.This research discusses the spread and use of WeChat in rural family between parent and filial generation surveys 13 households in ChenQu village with the method of field survey,tries to support WeChat in-depth analysis in rural families based on the "reverse socialization" and "cultural feedback" theory.Firstly,this paper shows the digital divide between young children and aged parents family in the ChenQu village,as well as the use of local middle-aged users group from the perspective of the digital divide.Secondly,focuses on the motivations,processes and constraints of WeChat feedback behavior in rural families.At last,investigates the impact of WeChat feedback in rural families and a variety of negative effects which may occur in middle-aged WeChat use in rural.The survey found that the phenomenon of WeChat feedback generally occurs in ChenQu Village in rural households,and young children play important roles such as learning initiator,problem solver and skills teacher.In the presses of feedback,young children usually teach their parents to use WeChat repeatedly for a long time,and always acting as an agent.The feedback processes are affected by family network infrastructure,parental learning willingness and ability,and parent-child relationship.Through the WeChat feedback,WeChat Provides a new way and platform for family members in rural families,but there are also negative impacts on parent-child relationship such as Unidirectional shielding behavior in WeChat's Circles.In addition,the middle-aged users get self-empowerment through WeChat use,but there are many potential risks in their use of WeChat.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the phenomenon of WeChat feedback in rural families according to the conclusions of the study.
