PurposeTo investigate the effect of combining abdominal breathing with movement training on the stability from fixing to releasing in elite archery athletes.MethodsTwelve national archery athletes who participate in winter training of 2015-2016 were selected as subjects.These subjects were randomly divided into two groups: breathing training group(BG;n=6)and the control group(CG;n=6).Breathing training group were trained in accordance with the designed sequence of movements,every movement repeated six breathing times(unilateral practice 6 times).All subjects were trained six weeks,two groups a day,four days a week.The subjects were measured respiratory function index: forced vital capacit(FVC),forced expiratory volume breathing in one second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF),FMS score,ACSM abdominal muscle endurance,body stability and ten ring hit rates before the experiment as well as after the experiment.Results(1)FVC,FEV1 and PEF of the BG were significantly higher than CG after the experiment(P<0.05).FVC,FEV1 and PEF of BG were significantly improvement after the experiment(P<0.05).Its did not have significant difference in FVC,FEV1,and PEF in CG after experiment(P>0.05).(2)The numbers of repetition in ACSM curle-up test were significantly higher than CG after the experiment(P<0.05).The numbers of repetition in ACSM curle-up test were significantly higher than pre-experiment in BG as well as CG(P<0.05).(3)The valid percentage of FMS,Deep Squat,Hurdle Step and Trunk Stability Push-Up of the BG were significantly higher than CG after the experiment(P<0.05).Its did not have significant difference in others testing after the experiment(P<0.05).(4)It did not have significant difference in the front-back distance of body in the BG and CG(P>0.05),but there were significantly lower in the left-right distance,the gravity distance,the area of gravity and the value of A after the experiment(P<0.05).Except the front-back distance,there were significantly lower in the left-right distance,the gravity distance,the area of gravity and the value of A in BG after the experiment(P<0.05).Its did not have significant difference in every index in the CG compare with pre-experiment(P>0.05).(5)The ten ring hit rates of the BG and CG have increased after the experimental intervention.But the ten ring hit rates of BG were higher than the CG.Conclusion(1)Combining abdominal Breathing with movement training in core exercises can effectively improve the stability from fixing to releasing in elite archers.(2)The traditional core exercises can improve the endurance of abdominal muscular.Combining abdominal Breathing with movement training in core exercises can effectively improve the endurance of abdominal muscular.(3)The more better stability of body,the more higher hit rates of ten.(4)Combining abdominal Breathing with movement training in core exercises can improve th function resperiration.(5)Combining abdominal Breathing with movement training in core exercises can effectively improve the movement of the whole body,but can not imporve the asymmetry of body.
