Primary Science Education Standards published marked the rise of a new round of basic education reform,which brings about the vigorous development of science education research.Since the promulgation of the first Primary Science Education Standards in 2001,after 16 years of reform and practice,what are the trends of science education research in primary schools? What are the characteristics of these trends? The article selects the CNKI published about science education research in primary schools papers,and utilization of Bibliographic Items Co-occurrence Matrix Builder,SPSS Statistics and Cite Space to analyze the literature metrology,summarizing the results of science education research in primary schools reveals the elementary school science education in our country the research topic,major research strength and hot research topic and research frontier.This paper is based on the core journal literature,master's dissertation and four typical non-core journals,which are divided into two parts: journals and master's dissertations.Firstly,quantitative analysis was made on the distribution of core periodical literature,authors,volume of journals,author units,keywords co-citation,and visualization of research hotspots;secondly,quantitative analysis was conducted on non-core journals in terms of volume,authors,and keywords co-citation.Then quantitative analysis was made on the distribution of the doctoral dissertations,the degree thesis awarding units,the frequency of tutors,the keywords co-citation,and the visualization of research hotspots.The study found that our country science education research topics in primary schools are mainly concentrated in the following four aspects: the research core about science learning,the research core about science teaching,the research core about curriculum and teaching materials,the research core about curriculum reform.And find more than half of the literature is about the teacher and teacher's teaching.?Journal of Teaching and Management? and ?Curriculum,Teaching Material and Method? and ?Shanghai Research on Education?are high-yield journals in the core journals of science education in the primary school.They play a major role in promoting the development of science education in primary school in China.Meanwhile,Beijing Normal University,Southwest University,and Capital Normal University are the representatives of the normal colleges and universities.The author group is mainly the researcher of higher normal university with the researcher of the first-line teacher.The hotspots of science education research in primary schools mainly focus on the research the primary school science curriculum,science learning,scientific inquiry,learning activity,science teaching,comparative study,scientific literacy,etc.The research front mainly focus on science curriculum,scientific inquiry,scientific literacy,the United States,teaching strategy,subjectivity,problem resolution,preconcept,scientific experiment,science teacher,comparative study,etc.
