A Study On The Developing Model Of Towns With Sports Characteristics In China

Towns with sports characteristics in China are a new industry formed by the cross-border integration of the sports industry and characteristic towns.It is a new thing that is still in the growth stage.This study focuses on towns with sports characteristics in China and their development models,which combs and analyses towns with sports characteristics in China and their development models on the background of supply-side structural reform.The paper adopts literature analysis,field trips,expert interviews,comparative analysis,logical analysis,and other research methods.Firstly,a cognitive system for small towns with sports characteristics is set up,and then representative case and several major development models with core elements as the division standard are summarized and analyzes.Finally,the main shackles of development of towns with sports characteristics in China are summarized and some optimization suggestions are put forward.The main conclusions are as follows:Currently,the definition of towns with sports characteristics is lack of accuracy and authority and has a fuzzy boundary with other related concepts.Sports town and towns with sports characteristics are two different names but they have the same essence;2.The introduction of a large number of related policy documents has played a catalytic role in towns with sports characteristics.The overall number of towns with sports characteristics in China will show a growth spurt and will be distributed to cities.3.The representative development models of towns with sports characteristics in China: a development model based on sports services and product development,a development model where sports mobilize related industries,and a development model driven by real estate.The real estate-driven development model has suffered the most criticisms,and its real property is still a comprehensive real estate project.4.Excessive real estate has led to the lack of geographical features in towns with sports characteristics.Over-commercialization has led to the assimilation of towns with sports characteristics.And improper planning and blindness are the main limiting factors that affect the better development of towns with sports characteristics in China;5.Successful towns with sports characteristics are not only a collection of sports facilities and venues,but above all they should be a lively population settlement.The following suggestions are put forward to the restrictive factors in towns with sports characteristics and its development mode in China:1.Towns with sports characteristics should not be confined to a particular pattern ofdevelopment,which should follow the contingency management concept,and seek organic integration of different development models;2.We should improve native residents to participate in efforts to enhance their sense of belonging and mobilize their enthusiasm,which let it become the town's cultural carrier and management of important participants;3.We should respect the native structure,conform to the topography,follow the existing landscape,reflect the sports culture and the connotation,focus on delicacy,prevent perfection and avoid improper planning;4.We give full play to the government's regulatory functions,to prevent excessive real estate,to implement strict examination and approval of commercial housing development in small town areas,and to have common-property properties such as joint-property housing and affordable housing.5.We should pay attention to the visual recognition system construction standardization and enhance the town identifiable degree;6.We should pay attention to scientific selection and focus on periodic sports events,sports venue,which has fixed the traditional natural villages and regional sports tourism with the scarcity of resources.
