Multi-linkage: The Strategy Of Social Work Participates In The Homeless Assistance

In China,the policy of aid to homeless in the city has been effective in alleviating the living conditions of them to some extent.At present,with the transformation of government functions,department of government aid are seeking breakthroughs in relief for homeless,and recognizing that it is important for social forces to participate in relief for homeless.Among them,the professional method of social work has gradually been recognized by the government departments in the field of the aid of homeless.However,how does social work get involved in the work of government aid agencies? How to exert it's professional advantage? And so on.These are the questions that social workers think.Firstly,This article embarks from the theory of relation between nation and society,and analysis what the relationship between social force represented by social work with the aid of the government sector,that is,they play the same function in social assistance,and they are not unrelated,instead is the relationship between communication and cooperation.Then,the author take the D social work services in Guangzhou for example,making a participant observation for the practice of relief for homeless,and discussing the specific strategies of the social workers' participation in the rescue of homeless by means of literature review and interviews.The author also found that the strategy of “multi-linkage” used in relief for homeless has certain feasibility,which contains the concrete policy: the linkage with government,with volunteers,with company and with expert.In addition,the practice shows that the service strategy of "multi-linkage" adopted by social worker has played a significant role in the rescue of homeless.Finally,on the basis of practical research in D social work institutions,the author summarizes the effective experience of social worker involved in relief for homeless,and also reflects on the problems and difficulties of it.Then,the author hopes to provide some policy suggestions and references for the government about the homeless.
