Teacher job satisfaction is the reflection of teachers' attitudes and feelings towards work.The level of teacher job satisfaction directly affects the enthusiasm of teachers,which in turn affects the quality of education and teaching.The paper takes the township middle school teachers as the research object.By studying the theme of job satisfaction of the township middle school teachers,it has important value and significance for the effective management of the school and the education authorities,as well as the full play of the teachers' duties and functions.Firstly,based on the literature search,the thesis sorts out the division of teachers'job satisfaction structure and the classification of influencing factors,and defines the concept of teacher job satisfaction.Then,based on the reference questionnaires of other scholars,combined with the current situation of townships and towns in Yuanmou County,Yunnan Province,it was adapted into a questionnaire that meets the local characteristics of the township schools in Yuanmou County.And distributed questionnaires to 300 teachers in 5 township middle schools in Yuanmou County for investigation.The questionnaire comprehensively examines the basic conditions of job satisfaction of township middle school teachers from eight aspects:work stress,work environment,salary income,promotion and development,interpersonal relationship,leadership and organization management,social and self-identification,and student quality.According to the results of the questionnaire survey,one teacher was selected from each of the five township schools surveyed to conduct in-depth interviews to explore the reasons that affect the job satisfaction of township middle school teachers.Finally,based on the results of the questionnaire survey and interviews,combined with the actual situation of the township middle school teachers,the reference opinions and suggestions for improving the job satisfaction of the township middle school teachers are given.The main findings are as follows:The average score of teachers in township schools in Yuanmou County is 3.35 points,which is higher than the theoretical average of 0.35 points;The highest satisfaction of teachers in township middle schools is the working environment,and the lowest satisfaction is the work pressure;The impact of male and female teachers on job satisfaction in eight dimensions did not reach statistically significant levels;With the increase of age,the satisfaction of both work stress and student quality is "U" type distribution;Unmarried teachers have significantly higher job satisfaction in eight dimensions than married teachers;eachers who have been teaching for more than 20 years are less satisfied with work stress,work environment,salary income,promotion and development,leadership and organizational management,social and self-identification,and student quality than other teachers of other teaching ages;Teachers with monthly income of 4,000-4,999 yuan have the greatest work pressure;Teachers with weekly class hours between 17 and 26 have lower satisfaction in eight dimensions than teachers in other weekly hours;The level of professional titles and the differences in teaching subjects will not affect the views of township middle school teachers on job satisfaction.Through investigations and interviews,township middle school teachers will re-examine their professions,and let more people understand the real living conditions of township middle school teachers,and call on the whole society,the government,and individual teachers to work together to improve the career of township middle school teachers.In the situation,further improve the job satisfaction of teachers in township middle schools.
