Rural teachers are the main force in the revitalization of rural education. They shoulder the important mission of educational reform, promoting quality education, promoting educational balance, and improving educational quality. In recent years, the government and education related departments have attached great importance to the construction of rural teacher teams, and have introduced a series of policies in strengthening training, improving treatment levels, and reducing work burdens.Although some results have been achieved, there is still a significant gap between the overall results and expectations, which to some extent hinders the healthy and sustainable development of rural education. In view of this,it is particularly important to conduct research on the current work status of township teachers. This study takes Z County,Hubei Province as an example and selects 322 primary and secondary school teachers from 7 townships in the area to conduct a questionnaire survey. The aim is to understand their overall satisfaction level and job satisfaction in eight dimensions: work environment, salary and treatment, work pressure, leadership management, parental and social support, colleague relationships, promotion and development, and self realization. The survey data is described and statistically analyzed using SPSS software,T-test Single factor analysis of variance and multiple linear regression. The specific conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Overall,the job satisfaction of township teachers in Z County is at an average level, and further improvement is needed.Colleague relationships, self actualization, work environment, and leadership management dimensions are rel atively high, with the highest score for colleague relationships, while satisfaction levels in promotion and development, work pressure, and salary and benefits are relatively low, with salary and benefits satisfaction ranking last.(2)From the comparison of differences in different background characteristics, variables such as age, work experience, teaching time in school, education, professional title, and monthly salary show significant differences in overall job satisfaction and different dimensions.(3)In terms of influencing factors, teacher age and monthly salary income have a significant positive predictive effect on overall job satisfaction of teachers;Education has a negative impact on teacher job satisfaction.Salary, work pressure, promotion and development, and self actualization characteristic variables have a significant predictive effect on overall satisfaction. Finally, based on the above conclusions, improvement suggestions were proposed from the perspectives of salary and benefits, work pressure, promotion and development, and self realization, aiming to effectively improve the job satisfaction level of township teachers and contribute to the revitalization of rural education.
