Research On Labor Mobility Among ASEAN Countries

In today's world,ASEAN countries are among the most active regions in the world for labor mobility.With the progress of ASEAN regional economic integration,the scale of labor mobility in the region has expanded.Thailand,Malaysia and Singapore have become the center of regional labor mobility.Three migration corridors for foreign labor flows have been formed in the ASEAN region,namely Cambodia,Laos and Burmese workers flowed to the corridors of Thailand,Indonesian and Malaysian workers moved to Singapore's corridors,and Indonesian,Burmese and Vietnamese workers moved to the corridors of Malaysia.Based on the theory of labor mobility,this paper expounds the status quo and characteristics of labor mobility in the ASEAN region,analyzes the policies and measures of labor exporting and importing countries,and explores the economic impact of cross-border labor mobility in the ASEAN region,and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions for the labor mobility in china-asean region.The full text is divided into six chapters:The first chapter introduces the research background,domestic and foreign literature,content and framework;the second chapter summarizes the theory of labor mobility,introduces the basic concept of labor mobility,and elaborates the theory of labor mobility and migration,including Lewis model,Ranis-Fei Jinghan model,Todaro model,etc.;Chapter 3:The current situation of labor mobility in the ASEAN region,analyzing the basic characteristics of the labor force in the ASEAN region;Chapter 4 The labor mobility policy of the ASEAN countries.It analyzes the labor mobility policies of ASEAN importing and exporting countries and compares different policies of countries in the region.Chapter 5 The impact of labor mobility in the ASEAN region.From the perspective of labor importing and exporting countries,this paper discusses the impact of regional labor mobility on economic growth,labor productivity,labor market,etc.;Chapter 6 is revelation and suggestions.On the basis of analyzing the labor mobility in the ASEAN region,it proposes countermeasures to further promote and improve the labor mobility in the China-ASEAN region.With the process of China-ASEAN regional economic integration,labor mobility in China and ASEAN regions has accelerated,and labor cooperation has expanded.ASEAN countries have become an important destination for Chinese labor export.Therefore,learning from the experience and lessons of labor mobility in the ASEAN region has important practical significance for promoting labor cooperation in the region.
