The US-led STEAM education concept advocates breaking the boundaries of disciplines and supporting projects or problems to achieve the cultivation of practical and innovative talents.This advanced educational concept has been widely favored by the education community.In response to and implementing the national education policy,more and more people are paying attention to the STEAM education concept.Therefore,how to practice the STEAM education concept in teaching has become the focus of discussion among educators.Based on the construction of biological physics model,this study explores the teaching model of constructing biological physics model based on STEAM education concept,in order to provide reference for interdisciplinary innovation practice activities in biology teaching in the future.Firstly,based on the in-depth study of the relevant theories of STEAM education concept and biological physics model construction,the possibility of the fusion of the two is analyzed.Secondly,through the related literature,the connotation and characteristics of STEAM education concept and the principles and steps of biophysical model construction are detailed,and the theoretical principles of STEAM educational activity design in the construction of biological physics model are clarified.Based on the STEAM education concept,the teaching model of the biological physics model is constructed,and based on this model,the teacher guidance steps and the student modeling steps are summarized.Then,according to the realistic conditions carried out in this study,the Practitioner High School Biology Compulsory 1 “Trying to Make a Three-Dimensional Structure Model of Eukaryotic Cells” was selected for teaching practice.Finally,the students' satisfaction with the implementation of modeling activities and the design pattern of modeling activities were investigated through questionnaires and interviews.The overall effects and opinions of the activities were analyzed through parent interviews and participation in modeling teacher interviews.The results show that the teaching model based on the STEAM education concept to construct the biological physics model has achieved good application results in practice.Students,parents and teachers agree with the teaching model of this construction.They believe that the application of this model to construct biological physics models can not only stimulate students' interest in learning,exercise manual brain ability,cultivate practice and innovation ability,but also help students.The transfer and use of knowledge.By reflecting on the overall process of modeling activities,it is found that the teaching mode of this construction needs to be improved in terms of theme selection and strengthening the role of teachers;Secondly,in practice,it is found that there are still some problems to be solved based on the STEAM education concept:The theme of the event is difficult to select,the teachers are difficult to assemble;the classroom time is tight,it is difficult to concentrate on modeling;the teaching facilities are limited,the students can use less resources;the teacher guidance is lacking,and the students are not good at summing up the key points.Therefore,according to the actual teaching of biology,the corresponding solutions are proposed:Digging deep into the content of teaching materials,guiding students to learn independently;developing school-based curriculum to attract students to participate actively;adapting to local conditions and playing a leading role;strengthening understanding and subtly affecting students.
