Case Social Work Involved In Poverty Alleviation In Pastoral Areas Study

At present,China has entered a critical period of poverty alleviation.The huge base of poor population and the imperfection of basic information system make the work of poverty alleviation and development face great challenges.In particular,the complexity,regionality and nationality of poverty in pastoral areas put forward a series of difficult problems in the development of poverty alleviation work.How to solve the problem of poverty in pastoral areas to achieve the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way by 2020 is an important task to overcome poverty at this stage.Based on the analysis of the problems existing in poverty alleviation work in H town pastoral area of H district,this paper takes the poor families in H town as the research object,and uses the method of case social work to find a solution to this problem..The author obtains first-hand data through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to the poor families in this town.On the basis of understanding the causes of poverty,the author analyzes the poor families in this area in all directions through on-the-spot observation.The research finds that the poverty alleviation work in pastoral areas has some problems,such as poor family resources are limited,herdsmen lack confidence out of poverty,and so on.In order to deal with these problems,the author selected a typical case and formulated a case service plan combined with the actual situation.And according to the plan to carry out four phases of intervention services,tap the potential of the case,help them link external resources.The research shows that the application of case work method to poverty alleviation of poor families in pastoral areas is not only helpful to solve the current plight of the case owner,but also helpful for the owner to exert his own advantages,stimulate the internal motivation and increase the confidence of poverty alleviation.
