Research On The Professionalization Of College Counselors

In the current educational work of colleges and universities,the team of counselors is the vanguard of education work.As an important part of the faculty of colleges and universities,it is necessary to correctly guide college students to actively develop into professional ideals and shoulder important responsibilities.In recent years,the relevant national leadership departments have also issued a number of policies and documents on the development of college counselors,so the development of college counselors is even more crucial.However,the actual development of college counselors shows that there are still a series of problems in the college counselor team: imperfect occupational access,immature professional development,and unscientific related systems and systems have greatly affected the team of college counselors' career development motivation.The reason for this dilemma is also the result of the overall influence of various factors.It not only includes the lack of relevant policies at the social level,the lack of enforcement at the university level,and also covers the lack of professional development of counselors.Based on the analysis of relevant literature,this paper uses the theory of demand hierarchy as the basic theory of research questions.Combined with the relevant content of human resource management,this paper focuses on the career planning as a research perspective to explore the career development of college counselors.With the questionnaires and field interviews,six colleges and universities in Henan province were selected for investigation and analysis,and the status quo of professionalization development of college counselors was analyzed,and the problems arising in the current professional construction process were analyzed.From the two dimensions of external factors and internal factors,this paper explores the two-way coincidence path of professionalization of college counselors: First,establish the external development path of content including a standardized professional access mechanism,professional vocational training mechanism and expert career development mechanism..The second is to improve the path of counselors' careers based on the career planning of counselors,focusing on improving professional cognition,stabilizing career orientation and improving scientific research.On the basis of the mutual influence of these two two-way convergence paths,the development strategy for the professionalization of college counselors is clear.
