Research On The Cultivation Of Professionalism Of College Counselors

University counselors are not only the core strength of universities' ideological and political education,but also the managers,organizers and mentors of undergraduates' daily ideological and political education.Therefore,the overall level of their professional quality and spiritual character has a positive relationship with the effects of universities' ideological and political education.Undergraduates' healthy growth requires high professional spirit and characters.With the continuous development of university counselor team,the demand for professionalism and technicality is increased.How is the current status of the counselors' professional spirits?What kind of professional spirits should a counselor possess?How to explore a way in which the counselors cultivate their professional spirits?Above questions are exactly those needed to be solved in the construction of college counselors' team.Based on the above problems,this paper attempted to summarize and analyze the current situation and existing problems in the cultivation of college counselors'professional spirits on the basis of previous research with the guidance of Marx theory and adherence to the principle of integrating theory with practice,adopting research methods including investigation,document analysis and so on.What's more,it further explored their professional spirits and put forward feasible suggestion.Firstly,this paper defined the related concepts of counselors' professional spirit and provided a detailed analysis of its components.And then it explained the necessity of calculating counselors' professional spirits from the following three aspects:counselors' all-round development,talent cultivation of students in colleges and social competition.Secondly,it also indicated the current situation and existing problems of professional spirit cultivation of today's university counselors through the investigation and study on the current situation of counselors' professional spirits.The reasons were analyzed from counselors themselves,college management,social recognition and historical background.Finally,the counselors' self-development,guarantee of universities'environment and social opinion were taken as pointcuts to explore the feasible ways of the cultivation of counselors' professional spirits.The task of cultivating counselors' occupation spirits is complicated and arduous,which requires the understanding of the elements of counselors' professional spirits.And the problems existing in the professional spirit cultivation of counselors in current college were analyzed in depth.Besides,the project of cultivating counselors'professional spirits was discussed from the following three aspects:individual,school and society.
