The National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Planning Development Outline(2010-2020)stipulates that we should improve the modern university system with Chinese characteristics,improve the governance structure,advocate open education,gradually open all kinds of information in running schools,and provide governance for university stakeholders.The information you need is especially important.At present,the Ministry of Education and the universities directly under the Ministry of Education have been vigorously promoting the work of information disclosure.Then,at this stage,whether information disclosure can effectively improve the governance performance of colleges and universities,and what problems need to be improved are worthy of further study.This paper adopts the combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis,and revolves around the relationship between university information disclosure and governance performance.Based on the theoretical analysis,the research hypothesis is put forward,and then the empirical model is used for empirical test.The model is constructed as follows: Starting from the two core functions of colleges and universities,namely,personnel training and scientific research,information disclosure is one of the input factors of college governance.By controlling other college investment,a multivariate linear regression model is constructed to explain the efficiency level of colleges and universities.The impact of university governance performance.In the process of empirical research,the National Information Disclosure Transparency Index Report is used as a reference.The “ Table of Information Disclosure of Colleges and Universities” is used as a blueprint to design a subscale,and the information disclosure status of each university is scored.The latest “College Graduate Employment Quality Report” The training situation of talents and the latest research results of China Knowledge Network as the proxy variables of university performance output,control the important factors affecting the running of colleges and universities,including the funding input,the number of teachers,the school building area and other conventional elements,the results show the model construction Good,the regression results pass the significance test and the level of significance is high,and it is reconfirmed by the robustness test,which verifies the hypothesis that the open information of colleges and universities is beneficial to improve the level of talent training and scientific research.It is conducive to improving the governance performance of colleges and universities.Finally,based on the theoretical necessity analysis and the empirical value judgment,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the university to further improve the information disclosure of the school:(1)reshape the university concept and enhance the initiative public awareness;(2)incorporate the transparency of running the school into the higher level.(3)The state further strengthens the legislative work on information disclosure and further improves the information disclosure standards of higher education institutions;(4)Establishes a dynamic monitoring mechanism and performance evaluation platform for information disclosure in universities;(5)Refinement Specification rules for school-running information in key areas.
