With the development of higher education popularization,the scale of postgraduate students in China has also increased,and will continue to expand in the future.At a time when China's economic construction and social development are in urgent need of highlevel talents,whether it is a professional master's degree for the purpose of training applied talents or an academic postgraduate student with the aim of training research-oriented talents,they should develop and play corresponding roles and functions.However,the current academic master's preference for training research-oriented talents has aroused People's concern.This research starts from the perspective of identity,and take H university as an example to achieve the following research results through qualitative research.First,the status of current academic master's degree of identity shows the characteristics of pluralism,and is mainly based on academic orientation and employment orientation.From the structural analysis,the academic ability is more prominent in the identity cognition dimension.In terms of identity and emotion,the overall self-identity is satisfied but the experience of specific research experience is different.In attitude commitment,it is also polarized.In terms of behavior,it is mainly manifested in professional preparation-academic training,positive-negative double relationship.From the type analysis,it can be divided into ontological identity and utilitarian identity according to the value concept.All in all,the representation of the actual identity breaks through the singularity of the academic orientation of the identities and becomes pluralistic.Second,as a state of continuous construction,identity identification begins with the academic master's own learning experience,which can be divided into the imaginary stage and the practical stage.The former includes three direct factors: reading motivation,personal expectation,and social expectation.The latter includes three direct factors: social support,role salience rating,and personal gain.In addition to these direct factors,there are also he influence of society,colleges and families,and the interaction between these factors ultimately affects the presentation of academic master's identity.Through the conclusions of this research,it can be believed that the diversity of the status of the academic postgraduate students has become a fact.We should face this phenomenon and give more attention and research to the cause of this fact.To help the development of academic postgraduate students so that they can better undertake social and national development goals.
