With the development of globalization,the sports industry in various countries is developing rapidly.As the core business form of sports industry,brand sports events are also the most active,influential and industry-driven part of sports industry.Many countries and regions are eager to join the bid for a variety of sports events to the team,in order to bring a variety of economic and social benefits through the event.In the process of holding the event,the government plays an important role in the process of event operation and management.From the introduction of the event to the organization of the event,there is a need for the"tangible hand" of the government everywhere.In this paper,through in-depth study on the role of the government,brand sports events management,brand sports events in the role of the government and other related theories and literature,the Zhuhai brand sports events in the role of the government conducted a more in-depth study.At the same time,it combines theoretical research and compares the practices of the government in brand sports events in developed cities of sports industry.On this basis,it forms its own opinions and suggestions on Optimizing Government Behavior in brand sports events.This paper is divided into seven parts for analysis and research.The first part introduces the background and significance of the topic,focusing on the domestic and foreign literature on the role of the government,brand sports event management and the role of the government in sports events.The second part elaborates in detail the basic concepts of brand sports events and government role from the perspective of theoretical research,elaborates the basic theory and evolution process of government role,then derives the role orientation of service-oriented government in the new era,and further studies the role of government in brand sports events.The third part gives a general description of the development process,current situation,characteristics and effects of Zhuhai brand sports events,and analyses the role of the government in Zhuhai brand sports events.The fourth part analyses the problems and causes of government role-playing in Zhuhai brand sports events,laying a good foundation for the next step to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.The fifth part analyses the role of the government in brand sports events in Shanghai and Shenzhen,and summarizes the experience and practices on how to effectively play the role of the government,so as to provide inspiration for optimizing the role of the government in brand sports events in Zhuhai.The sixth part combines the existing problems of the government role in Zhuhai brand sports events and relevant theoretical research,and puts forward six countermeasures and suggestions on how to optimize the government role,such as strengthening the top-level design of the transformation of government functions in brand sports events,strengthening the government's macro-control functions,and strengthening the cultivation of sports social organizations,in order to effectively achieve the purpose of this study.The seventh part is the conclusion,which summarizes the basic points of this paper,puts forward the innovative points of this paper,and explains the shortcomings of the paper and the direction of future efforts.
