According to the fourth sample survey of the living conditions of urban and rural elderly in China,the number of disabled and semi-disabled elderly in China has reached 40.63 million,accounting for 18.3% of the national elderly population.According to international standards for every three disabled elderly people with a caregiver,at least 13 million caregivers are needed in China.The lack of old-age resources and the special nature of the disabled and semi-disabled elderly groups have contributed to the transformation of the old-age support."Meal Rotation" is one of the many ways of support for disabled and semi-disabled old people.It mainly means that parents or one of them will take turns to be supported by individual sons after a certain time.In the course of the research,the author mainly collects family-aged pensions by semi-structured interviews and observations.I find the right person to care for the half-disabled old man through the hierarchical compensatory.Based on the theory of structural family therapy,the authors choose to use the main restructuring operation to intervene in family relationships.In this way,we will sort out the relationship between the families of the semi-disabled elderly and ease the contradiction between family members due to the care of the elderly,and finally promote the formulation of a stable care plan to build a stable and harmonious care environment for the semi-disabled elderly.I found that the following characteristics were exhibited under the support mode of “meal rotation”:First,the care of the semi-disabled elderly is mainly supported by informal resources.Second,the semi-disabled elderly have a “ blocking effect” in the realization of the demand for care.Third,the social network of the semi-disabled elderly is shrinking.Through specific practical research,I has the following experience:First,the existence of the "meal rotation" is not because this method is extremely subtle and reasonable,but after its veil,it is the disorder of the internal relationship of family members and the imbalance of resources.Secondly,for the half-disabled elderly,“meal rotation” lacks stability,it is important to determining the main care bearers in the family.Third,structural family therapy is appropriate for this type of family problem.Social worker could help the elderly in the family to create a well rest environment and meet their care needs by adjusting family relationships and strengthening family functions.
