Teacher professional standard is a sign that highlights the professionalization of teachers,helps to ensure the quality of the teaching staff.As the main body of science education,science teachers have become the bottleneck restricting the development of science education in China.Although China promulgated the "Professional Standards for Primary School Teachers(Trial)" in 2012,it is difficult to guide the professional development of science teachers.The development of professional standards for science teachers in primary schools to improve the level of science education is a subject that needs to be studied in China.The professional standards of primary school science teachers are the core of this research.This paper uses the literature method,the comparative method and the investigation method,and uses the "professional standards" as the text basis to sort out the basic principles of the teacher professional standards,and analyzes the main content of the "professional standards",From the perspective of STEM education,elementary science courses,science teachers,students,analyzes the particularity of science education in primary schools,interviews with pre-service and in-service primary school science teachers and primary school students,collects the realistic basis for constructing professional standards for primary school science teachers,and deeply interprets the US 2020 version of science teacher education standards.The main content of the subject further establishes the basic content of the standard.The study found that "professional standards" are developmental and advanced,but there are still some problems in terms of norms and operability.After analyzing the Professional Standards,the secondary indicators under “professional philosophy and teacher morality” are initially integrated into “professional understanding”,“attitude and behavior of education and teaching”,and the secondary indicators under “professional knowledge” are integrated into “educational teaching”,“ discipline knowledge”.Analyzing the particularity of science education in primary schools,draws the necessity of developing professional standards for science teachers in primary schools,and establishes two secondary indicators and three levels of “inquiry teaching ability” and “ability of create and manage learning environment” in the standard.It analyzes the main content of American science teacher education standard,draws the enlightenment of building standards,increases the secondary indicators of “discipline teaching knowledge”,and enriches the content of “discipline knowledge” and “ability of create and manage learning environment”.Based on the above three research levels,the basic framework of professional standards for primary school science teachers was initially constructed.Studying the professional standards of primary school science teachers is of great significance to China's science education.This study hopes to provide reference value for the development of professional standards for science teachers in China,and attract more scholars to pay attention to the professional development of primary school science teachers.
