Casework Intervention For The Improvement Of The Life Quality Of The Widowed Elderly Living Alone

According to the latest analysis of the population aging situation released by the Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau,Wuhan has entered the stage of “deep aging”.Among such a large elderly group,the number of women is far more than that of men,indicating that many elderly people have to face the problem of widowhood.The number of widowed elderly people is growing.Some of the widowed elderly live alone,forming a special group in China.This is a group that is more vulnerable than the empty nesters.Due to age and physical limitations,they have decreased physiological functions,disease restrictions,negative emotions and society that live alone all the year round.As the circle of communication shrinks,the quality of life of widowed elderly people will inevitably be affected.Therefore,we should pay attention to the widowed elderly living groups and focus on improving their quality of life.This study is based on the elderly widowed elderly living alone,with the perspective of advantage to help the elderly actively solve difficulties and meet the needs,and actively explore the potential advantages of the elderly,starting from the three dimensions of physical health,mental health and social health,helping the elderly to link medical care.Resources to understand pathological knowledge to form correct cognition,learn cervical vertebrae and lumbar rehabilitation exercises;encourage the elderly to recall past events and cultivate hobbies to regain life fun,enhance self-esteem and self-confidence,and help the elderly to contact psychological experts to provide psychological support;encourage elderly people to communicate with each other,Promote emotional expression and companionship,help the elderly to contact the community elderly mutual aid association to establish a helping relationship,encourage the elderly to participate in community activities to promote community integration,and expand the circle of social interaction.In this study,through the results of the old SF-36 scale test and the interview records of the elderly,it was found that the case social work intervention has a certain effect on helping the elderly to maintain their health,and it helps to form a positive attitude towards the improvement of the elderly's psychological emotions and promotes the integration of the elderly community.Expanding the social support network has a clear positive effect,which is of great significance to improving the quality of life of widowed elderly people living alone.
