| With the aging of the population and the increasing prominence of society,the elderly account for a large proportion of the population.The speed of urbanization is getting faster and faster,young people in rural areas choose to go out to work,and the number of elderly women who are widowed and living alone in rural areas is increasing.In their daily life,they face many problems,and the need for spiritual comfort is a very important point.If they do not get it,it will have a serious impact on their quality of life in their later years,and will also cause great harm to society.Therefore,this paper takes W Village,Enshi City,Hubei Province as the research background,selects the most representative cases,and uses professional methods of social work,such as document method,interview method,etc.,under the guidance of social support network theory and advantage perspective theory.Carry out case work to solve the problem of spiritual comfort for the widowed female elderly living alone,do a good job in emotional relief,psychological problem counseling,etc.,and establish a social support network to meet the needs of spiritual comfort.First,we conducted field investigation and interviews on W Village,communicated with widowed female elderly people living alone in the village,identified Grandma Liu as the service object of this service,collected relevant information,made a basic grasp of the current situation,and estimated her spiritual needs.We jointly discussed and formulated specific service plans and goals,divided the service process into several stages,and carried out a total of seven services.Social workers use skills such as patient listening and guiding clients to talk,and establish a social support network.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the whole service process.Social work can provide help for service objects to solve the problem of spiritual comfort and overcome difficulties to a certain extent.However,after all,the power is limited,and there are very few things that can be done.Therefore,we call on all sectors of society to participate and contribute to solving the problem of spiritual comfort for the elderly female widowed and living alone in rural areas. |
