In recent years,the school bullying incidents frequently occur and the degree of bullying becomes more and more serious.As a pathological phenomenon in the socialization process of middle school students,school bullying seriously affects the bullied,bullies and bystanders in terms of studies,social adaptation and mental health.With the progress of science and technology,school bullying has gradually extended from the traditional bullying to the cyberspace.For bullying behavior research,the factors affecting the collective level have been overlooked,and the school is a major and middle school students are very important life place,collective moral disengagement is from the student's smallest and most specific collective units-class as a starting point,from the collective level combined with the personality traits for middle school students analyze the occurrence of bullying.Therefore,this study intends to explore the influence of violent video games on bullying behavior of middle school students,and explore the influence mechanism of violent video games on bullying behavior through the mediating effect of collective moral disengagement and feeling seeking.A total of 486 middle school students in two middle schools in Yichang were measured twice by using the "participants role scale","collective moral disengagement scale","sensation seeking scale","attack theme preference questionnaire","the initiative to attack and reactive aggression questionnaire","cyberbullying scale".Using SPSS21.0,Mplus for statistical analysis.The findings are as follows:(1)Middle school students' violent video games,collective moral disengagement,sensation-seeking and bullying behaviors are all below average.(2)There are significant gender differences in the violent video games,the blame attribution factors of collective moral disengagement,and cyberbullying among middle school students;There were significant age differences in violent video games,moral defense factors of collective moral disengagement,responsibility transfer factor,responsibility decentralization factor,favorable comparison factor,sensation-seeking,reactive aggression,aggressive behavior and cyberbullying.There are significant differences in subjective family economic status among responsibility transfer factors,sensation seeking and reactive aggression.(3)Middle school students' violent video games,collective moral disengagement,sensation-seeking,proactive aggression,reactive aggression,aggressive behavior and cyberbullying are positively correlated.(4)The collective moral disengagement of middle school students plays an intermediary role between violent video games and bullying behaviors;There is a mediating effect between video violent game(T1)and bullying behavior(T2),and chain mediating effect is established.(5)Violent video games could affect bullying behavior of middle school students,not only through the direct path,but also through the indirect path of mediation of Collective moral disengagement and Sensation seeking chains of affect.
