Research On The Measurement And Influence Factors Of Economic Growth Quality In Hubei Province

The quality of economic growth is one of the most worthy aspects of concern in the process of economic development in various countries and regions.In recent years,China's development of the central region has continued to increase.Hubei Province,as the economic pillar of the central region,has a superior geographical position and is located in the center of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The quality of its economic development is closely related to the realization of the national strategy.Therefore,research on the quality of economic growth around Hubei Province,establish an indicator system to comprehensively analyze the economic growth quality of Hubei Province,and deeply explore the important factors affecting the quality of economic growth,which is an important guide for the high-quality development of Hubei Province's economy.First of all,based on relevant literatures at home and abroad,this paper reviews the status quo of research on economic growth quality at home and abroad,clarifies the research direction and content of the paper,and elaborates the background and research significance of studying the economic growth quality of Hubei Province.In the first chapter,the related theories of the concept of economic growth quality are elaborated,and the related concepts of economic growth and economic development are described.In terms of the connotation of economic growth quality,this paper defines six aspects: economic growth efficiency,economic growth structure,economic growth stability,welfare change and outcome distribution,resource utilization and environmental cost,and national economic quality.Secondly,on the basis of relevant theories such as economic growth,this paper is based on the principles of science,system,comparability and feasibility,from economic growth efficiency,economic growth structure,economic growth stability,welfare change and results distribution,resource utilization and The six dimensions of environmental cost and national economic quality select basic indicators,explain relevant indicators and clarify their calculation methods,and establish an index system suitable for measuring the quality of economic growth in Hubei Province.Finally,on the basis of the established indicator system,the raw data is collected from the national statistical bureau and the statistical yearbook,and the principal component analysis method is used to determine the weight of each index,thereby measuring the scores of each dimension,and then measuring the economic growth quality index value,comprehensively evaluating of the quality of economic growth in Hubei Province.This paper estimates the economic growth quality of Hubei Province during 2008-2017 and finds that the economic growth quality index of Hubei Province is gradually increasing.Among them,the rapid increase in 2013-2017 indicates that the economic growth quality of Hubei Province is developing well,transforming from low quality development to high quality development.In order to analyze the important factors affecting the economic development quality of Hubei Province,this paper selects the factors such as urban population density,innovation drive,education investment,financial industry development,real estate investment and other factors in combination with the development status of Hubei Province.Use the idea of return to study its impact on improving the quality of economic growth.The study found that urban population density has a significant negative impact on improving the quality of economic growth,while education funding and scientific and technological innovation activities have a significant positive impact on improving the quality of economic growth.Therefore,Hubei Province should reasonably increase education investment and improve Technological innovation capability drives the development of technology-driven development.Finally,the paper combines the empirical analysis results of this paper to propose the path of improving the quality of economic growth in Hubei Province.
