| With the rapid development of the economy,individual working hours increase,pressure increases,and the time spent with the elderly in the family is getting shorter and shorter.The elderly lack companionship and care,and their sense of security has decreased.The sense of security is the cognition and experience of whether an individual has worries in physiology or psychology.Helping behavior is a prosocial behavior to help others solve problems.The research on the influence of helping behaviors on the sense of security of the elderly can not only enrich relevant theories of social work for the elderly,but also maintain the physical and mental health of the elderly and promote the sound development of social work for the elderly.On the basis of literature analysis,the 2013 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study data were used to investigate the present situation of helping behavior and sense of security,and analyze the relationship between both sides.The influence of helping behavior on sense of security was further discussed through interviews and case intervention.The main conclusions are as follows:First,there are not many elderly people who carry out helping behaviors,and most of them focus on individual helping behaviors,supplemented by group helping behaviors.Second,in addition to age,household registration and health status,helping behaviors of the elderly are also affected by helping motivation,self-cognition of the elderly,social and policy environment and support network.Third,the security score of the elderly is above the average level.There were significant differences in age,gender,household registration,marital status,political status and health status.Fourth,helping behavior can partially predict the sense of security.According to the problems found in the study,countermeasures and suggestions of social work intervention are put forward from two aspects of social work organization promotion and social worker demonstration service. |
