Practical Research On Social Work Promoting The Development Of Volunteer Service For The Elderly In Urban Communities "helping The Elderly At The Young Age"

With the development of economy and society,the improvement of people's living standards,the extension of life expectancy and the increase of the proportion of the elderly population,China is facing more and more severe pressure of population aging.In order to alleviate the serious pressure of aging population,y community of Kunming City has explored actively to open up a way to make rational use of community elderly human resources and develop community voluntary service for the elderly.In this study,y community young people to participate in voluntary service for the elderly community as the research object,the use of professional methods of social work,with the advantage perspective and activity theory as the theoretical support,using interviews and observation methods to collect the relevant data of the whole practice process,the needs of the elderly community,the needs of young people volunteers to participate in voluntary service for the elderly and the existing problems From the perspective of social work,it promotes the development of community volunteer service practice of "helping the young and the elderly".Through carrying out five section group activities with different contents,the ability of the young elderly volunteers to help the elderly has been fully tapped,the awareness of helping the elderly has been qualitatively improved and changed,and the volunteer leaders of the voluntary service for the elderly have been cultivated,which lays the foundation for the later development of the "young helping the elderly" voluntary service for the elderly,so as to develop a team of young elderly volunteers who can provide long-term voluntary service for the elderly in the community In order to realize the circulation and sustainable development of voluntary service for the elderly in the community,we should build a team of volunteers to explore the localization mode suitable for the development of voluntary service for the elderly in the community.Through the development of a series of community activities,it has created a community volunteer service atmosphere for the elderly,promoted community participation,and won the support and recognition of the public.Finally,through summing up and reflecting on the achievements and difficulties of this study,this paper puts forward relevant solutions to promote the enrichment and development of social work in this field.
