Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Tennis In Higher Vocational Colleges In Chongqing

As an emerging sport,tennis has been introduced to China,which becomes popular among teachers and students for its unique charm,and is rapidly popularized in colleges and universities.There is no doubt that tennis has gradually become a hot spot in college physical education and the popular course for students.Meanwhile tennis has also been of great significance for students to participate in extracurricular exercise.In recent years,tennis has the dramatic growth in the amateur tennis of Chongqing,but it develops slowly in colleges and universities,especially in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,it has importantly practical significance to discuss the limiting factors of tennis development in higher vocational colleges in order to make tennis grows further.This paper conducts research on the status quo of tennis in forty higher vocational colleges in Chongqing via questionnaire interview,survey method and documentary analysis in order to find out influenced causes of restricting the tennis development.The main purpose of this paper is to give some targeted suggestions and improved measures that are the vital reference for the growth of tennis in higher vocational colleges in Chongqing,as well as the popularization of campus tennis.According to the research,conclusions are as follows:(1)The higher vocational colleges in Chongqing are mainly distributed in the main city and the surrounding areas of Jiangjin,Wanzhou and Yongchuan.(2)students from higher vocational colleges in Chongqing are extraordinary interested in tennis,and look forward to learning it,which demonstrates that tennis has the large demand in higher vocational colleges.(3)the Higher vocational colleges in Chongqing pay little attention to tennis and carry out tennis courses poorly,which are mainly restricted by three aspects: first,in terms of venues,equipment and other hardware facilities,mainly reflected in the number of tennis venues is small and uneven distribution,the lack of indoor tennis venues;Second,the tennis teachers,mainly reflected in the number of tennis teachers is small and young teachers,the lack of high education and high professional title of talent,the number of times to participate in tennis training is less;The third is the importance of the leadership,mainly reflected in the lack of tennis hardware and software facilities construction investment and policy support.(4)The number of vocational college students in Chongqing is small and their participation in tennis is not deep enough,which is mainly reflected in three aspects.Secondly,the overall number of tennis clubs in higher vocational colleges is small and the development is not mature enough,that is,the lack of funds,the lack of experienced club management personnel,the poor level of club technical personnel,the lack of opportunities to participate in training;Third,because the tennis competition system of higher vocational colleges is not perfect,only one station of college students can participate.
