As the number of overseas students and returnees increase year by year, the group of "new generation returnees" is growing.Based on the theory of planned behavior and the neo-capital theory, this paper takes the "new generation returnees" born after 1980 as the research object, explores the entrepreneurial intention level of the "new generation returnees" and its related influencing factors and influencing mechanism, and tries to study the unique influence of overseas study background on the entrepreneurial intention of the "new generation returnees".According to the theory of planned behavior, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control are the three antecedent variables of intention, while other factors act on the intention and behavior through these three factors.According to the neo-capital theory, the capital of individuals and groups can be comprehensively analyzed from the perspectives of cultural capital, social capital and human capital. Therefore,in combination with related literature, this paper assumes that biculturalism, ambidextrous network, entrepreneurial competence, bilingual proficiency, and entrepreneurship education influencing factors of the entrepreneurial intention of the new generation of returnees from these perspectives respectively, and suppose those factors influencing entrepreneurial intention through attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavior control.Survey of 211 "new generation returnees" through the questionnaire showed that the entrepreneurial intention level of "new-generation returnees" and their understanding of relevant supporting policies for returnees' entrepreneurship were not high. The entrepreneurial intention of the "new generation returnees" is affected by a series of factors.Biculturalism at the level of cultural capital and entrepreneurial competence, bilingual proficiency, and entrepreneurship education at the level of human capital do have an impact on entrepreneurial intention.Among them, bicultural compatibility, foreign language competence and foreign entrepreneurship education affect entrepreneurial intention through attitude and perceived behavior norms, while domestic entrepreneurship education affects entrepreneurial intention through perceived behavior control.Furthermore, implications are also discussed.
