This study focuses on the professional adaptation status of undergraduates in Zhejiang university.This paper investigates the professional adaptation level of undergraduates,analyzes the problems existing in the professional adaptation of undergraduates and their influencing factors,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures to improve the professional adaptation level of undergraduates.Quantitative and qualitative research methods were combined to carry on this study.Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews.SPSS23.0 data statistical software was used to sort out the data.The data were further analyzed by descriptive statistics,one-way Anova,independent sample T test and correlation analysis.The results of the study are following.The overall professional adaptation condition of Zhejiang university undergraduates is quite good.There is no significant difference between the boys and girls in terms of professional adaptation.But there are significant differences between different grades in terms of professional adaptation.With regard to professional adaptation condition,the freshman and sophomore are better than junior and senior students.Especially,the junior students is the worst.In respect to the professional adaptation condition,there are significant differences among undergraduates of different majors.Medical students performs best,while the students in the school of agriculture,life and environment and humanities have the worst professional adaptability.There are three major problems in the process of specialty adaptation for undergraduates in Zhejiang university,that is,the level of specialty adaptation is not ideal,the level of specialty adaptation decreases with the advancement of specialty education,and there are major differences in the level of specialty adaptation.The main reasons for the unsatisfactory professional adaptability are lack of professional interest,lack of positive professional learning behavior and low professional trait efficiency.The reason why the professional adaptation level decreases with the advancement of the professional education is that the students' attitude to the major goes through the honeymoon stage,depression stage,adjustment stage and adaptation stage.The major difference in major adaptation level is mainly reflected in the fact that the professional adaptation level of humanities department and agricultural and environmental department is lower than that of other departments,because of the relative lack of employment advantages,higher proportion of professional adjustment and lower degree of professional interest in humanities department and agricultural and environmental department.Suggestions are based on the research results.The first part is about something what the school needs to do.Firstly,the school should provide targeted professional adaptation counseling according to individual conditions.Secondly,the school should provide employment guidance and psychological counseling.Thirdly,the school must create the good study atmosphere.Fourthly,teachers should change the way of professional teaching.Fifthly,the college should adjust the course structure.Sixthly,the school must change the way of management.At the social level,students should be given more opportunities to visit and practice.Strengthen the professional orientation of recruitment.At the family level,communication and communication with children should be enhanced.Respect your child's professional decision-making autonomy.The forth part is about something what the students need to do.Firstly,students should cultivate a positive attitude.Secondly,students should think twice and follow their heart before choose a major.Thirdly,students should cultivate their professional interest and improve their professional identity.Fourthly,students should be strict with themselves and improve the self-discipline.Fifthly,the student must be diligent and spend more time in learning professional knowledge.Sixthly,the student must surf on the internet rationally and don't rely too much on the Internet.Seventhly,students should take the initiative to seek learning and psychological help.
