With the development of universitisation and specialization of teacher education,the talents training of teacher educational is changing from quantity supply to quality supply,and the task is to cultivate high-quality professional teachers who adapt to the modernization construction.Teacher education institution is the practical field of teacher training.The guiding ideology,construction principle,construction content and guarantee system of teacher training will directly affect the quality of teacher training.Therefore,the research on the construction of teacher educational institutions is helpful to the healthy and orderly development of teachers educational institutions themselves,and then helps to improve the quality of teachers and enhance the recognition of teachers from all walks of life.It is helpful to promote social status and prestige of teachers,and to enhance the national educational competitiveness.First of all,this paper expounds the reason,significance,domestic and foreign research status,the definition of core concepts,research contents,research methods and the theoretical basis of the research on "the construction of elitism teacher education institutions",which points out the direction of future research and lays the foundation of theory and method.Secondly,the research adopts the method of literature research and comparative analysis,from two aspects: the number of teacher education institutions at all levels of institutions of higher learning in our country and the establishment of relevant secondary institutions within teacher education institutions at the level of institutions of higher learning.This paper investigates the current situation of the development of teacher education institutions in China.The research finds that: from the level of institutions of higher learning,there are many problems in the educational institutions of teachers in our country,such as the variety andquantity distribution is not reasonable,the whole training level is lower,the participation degree of teachers in high-level universities is low,and so on.From the point of view of the related secondary institutions in institutions of higher institutions,there are some problems in teacher educational institutions,such as the decentralization of teacher educational resources,the confusion of setting standards and the unconformity of the names of the institutions in normal.There is a low willingness of the relevant secondary institutions to participate in teacher education in non-normal colleges and universities.Finally,this study points out that the principle of specialization of teachers,the principle of simplification of institution construction,the principle of customer satisfaction,the principle of systematization and collaboration should be taken as the guiding ideology of the high-quality teacher training pursued by "elitism".This paper puts forward the concrete contents of the construction of elitism teacher educational institutions.At the same time,the guarantee mechanism of this construction is elaborated in order to play a positive role in solving the problems existing in the development of teacher education institutions in our country.
