The state council has repeatedly issued documents emphasizing the modernization of vocational education,and the government should transform from the leader of running schools to the coordinator,and guide social forces,especially enterprises,to participate in running schools,which will have a great impact on the funding structure of higher vocational colleges.Therefore,this paper takes the source of funds of higher vocational colleges as the starting point,and on the basis of studying domestic and foreign literatures and relevant theories,describes the overall situation of China's higher vocational education,and points out the existing problems and causes.This paper describes the scale of financial input from three perspectives:the overall investment in vocational education at each stage of higher education,and the comparison of the number of students in vocational education and general education at each stage.In the description of financial input,according to the caliber of China's statistical yearbook of educational expenditure,the education institutional expenses,infrastructure expenditure,additional educational expenses and scientific research expenses are described in detail.This paper studies the investment of higher vocational education in Germany,the United States,Japan and Australia respectively.It is necessary to learn from them.Finally,Suggestions are put forward from the two perspectives of improving financial input and funding structure:adjust the scale of financial input appropriately,improve the financial input performance appraisal system,improve the transfer payment system,and enhance the enthusiasm of enterprises to invest and run schools.
