With the development of overseas students education,martial arts education for overseas students has become a part of higher education in China.As a special group in China's higher education,overseas students are the receivers and disseminators of Chinese culture,and the bridge and media of cultural exchange with foreign countries.Because of conflicts between different cultures due to historical,ethnic and religious reasons,these differences are bound to cause psychological pressure on overseas students,coupled with difficulties in their studies and cultural adaptation,which will lead to their own closure,further affect the development of studies.The collaborative practice of cross-cultural education and martial arts education for overseas students not only meets the internal needs of the physical and mental development of overseas students,but also meets the objective needs of the international spread of Chinese culture.The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the feasibility of Martial Art Education for international students in North University of China from the perspective of cross-cultural education,and to analyze and diagnose the possible difficulties in Martial Art Education for international students,at the same time,the author puts forward some countermeasures to promote the cooperative practice of martial arts education and cross-cultural education for North University of China overseas students.The aim is to attract the attention of relevant departments,guide the smooth implementation of martial arts education for overseas students,and provide a theoretical basis for the North University of China and other universities to offer martial arts classes for overseas students,for the establishment of a sound,scientific martial arts education system for overseas students in China to make suggestions.Based on this,this study,from the perspective of cross-cultural education theory,takes the feasibility of North University of China to carry out martial arts education for foreignstudents as the research object,and in the course of the study,through literature and logical analysis,it is concluded that Wushu Teaching for foreign students meets the requirements of relevant educational policies.Taking North University of China as a case study,this paper investigates and analyzes the foreign students by using the method of questionnaire,grasps the foreign students' cognition,motivation,study intention and so on,and analyzes the basic study situation of the foreign students.Using the method of expert interview,the author interviewed the teachers in the Department of Martial Arts Education and Foreign Student Education Administration of North University of China.The results showed that:(1)Wushu Education for foreign students from the perspective of cross-cultural education meets the requirements of relevant educational policies.(2)60% of the North University of China students are willing to learn martial arts;at present,there is no physical education for them,and they urgently need regular physical education.(3)The College of Education for overseas students supports the establishment of Wushu courses for overseas students.(4)The structure of the North University of China Wushu Teachers is reasonable,they have rich teaching experience,and they have working experience in teaching overseas,so they can be competent in Wushu Education for overseas students.(5)The software and hardware environment of the North University of China basically meet the needs of martial arts education for foreign students.(6)From the perspective of cross-cultural education,an analysis of the dilemma of Wushu Education for foreign students in north-central University: Cultural differences cause cross-cultural barriers to affect teaching progress and academic development;The teaching environment is not perfect and the teaching system is not perfect.In view of the existing difficulties,the following countermeasures are proposed:(1)Imparting cross-cultural knowledge and cultivating cross-cultural literacy.(2)Strengthening teacher training: to promote teachers' cross-cultural awareness and oral English proficiency.(3)Improving the teaching environment: Setting Up Professional Martial arts venues;setting up martial arts clubs.(4)Improve the teaching system.Set up the teaching objective,the teaching content,the innovative teaching strategy and the evaluation system.The results show that it is feasible to carry out martial arts education for foreign students in North University of China from the perspective of cross-cultural education.
