A Study On The Development Model Of Entrepreneurial Universities And The Transformation Of Agricultural And Forestry Universities

To carry out the research of entrepreneurial universities,explore the new path suitable for the development of some universities and stimulate the vitality of the innovation and entrepreneurship of the universities,is the practical need to carry out the strategy innovation-driven development and serve the construction of innovation-oriented country.It is the internal requirement to deal with the internal and external environment changes in higher education and deepen the comprehensive reform in the field of higher education.Combining the research of entrepreneurial universities with the transformation and development of agricultural and forestry universities,it provides a new way of thinking for the development of agricultural and forestry universities,thus improving the ability of scientific and technological innovation in agricultural and forestry universities,and promoting the new development of agricultural and forestry universities in the modernization of service agriculture.It is of practical significance to carry out the strategy of rural revitalization and complete a well-off society in an all-round way.The multidisciplinary theories,such as ecology,innovation and entrepreneurship,strategic management and new institutional economics,are used in this study,from the practice to the theory,from the general theory to the special theory,and then by the logical line of theory guiding practice.Through the historical investigation of the changes in the university's functions,it is believed that the emergence of a new form of entrepreneurial universities is the inevitable result of the University's adaptation to the external and internal mechanisms of the University.Entrepreneurial universities timely respond to the urgent need of social development and science and technology and the desire of innovative talents,which will become an important mode of university development.The research takes University of Warwick and MIT as an example to sort out their history of becoming an entrepreneurial university.The research holds that the entrepreneurial university is a new university in the context of knowledge economy,which makes full use of new opportunities in the process of regional and national economic development,and through organizational innovation and function expansion to achieve the goal of transforming academic resources into academic capital and developing resources by academic capital,the new university will continue to grow.The essence of the entrepreneurial university is that the university's academic entrepreneurship with the spirit of innovation and innovation is the practice of the university through forwardly adjusting the internal production relations and emancipate the productive forces.Entrepreneurial universities have unique characteristics in terms of organization,function and culture.In terms of organization,it has a strong core of leadership and an innovative organization that crosses the traditional border.In terms of function,the entrepreneurial spirit is embedded in the teaching,scientific research and serving economic and social development,and as the source of innovation and entrepreneurial culture,it promotes the development of innovation culture.In terms of culture,there are conflicts and integration of diverse cultures.According to two dimensions and their combination of strength and weakness of the high degree of academic resources in the field of knowledge(sophisticated academic resources and common academic resources)and the difficulty degree of the transformation of academic resources into academic capital(applied academic resources and basic academic resources),the entrepreneurial universities are divided into two basic types:innovative entrepreneurial universities and applied entrepreneurial universities.With the help of Timmons's entrepreneurial theory,this paper analyzes the development model of applied entrepreneurial university from three dimensions:entrepreneurial opportunity,entrepreneurial resource,and entrepreneurial team.The three dimensions of entrepreneurial opportunity,entrepreneurial resource and entrepreneurial team have their own emphasis,interaction and dynamic development,which constitute the basic development model of applied entrepreneurial universities.The entrepreneurial model of applied entrepreneurial university is put forward,and from three dimensions of entrepreneurial opportunity,entrepreneurial resource and entrepreneurial team,the concrete and basic modes of transformation and development to applied entrepreneurial universities are given.Through reviewing the history and reality of agricultural and forestry universities,it traces the development of them,studies the current situation of them,and uses the theory of niche to analyze the reason for transformation of them and the transition to applied entrepreneurial universities.The basic model is built for the transformation of agricultural and forestry universities to the entrepreneurial universities of agricultural and forestry universities,and the five transformation strategies are put forward to change the concept of development,reform the organizational structure,highlight the characteristics of the entrepreneurship,promote the transformation of teachers and promote cultural integration.And the transformation should follow the three principles of integrity,dynamics and openness,and from the two sides of the external system and the internal system,it studies the construction of the system for ensuring the success of the transformation.The two sides of the internal system have studied the system construction to ensure successful transformation.According to the strategic map theory,the strategic objectives of the agricultural entrepreneurial universities are divided into three levels of function,internal operation,learning and growth,and the strategic map of school transformation is drawn according to the relationship between them.Finally,based on the research achievements of transformation from agricultural universities to entrepreneurial universities,strategic analysis and program design for the transformation and development of one agricultural university is carried out.The advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of the university are analyzed by SWOT analysis,and the transformation of the university is designed from five aspects,namely,the transformation of the concept of development,the development of organizational transformation,the highlight of the characteristics of university entrepreneurship,the improvement of the construction of the teachers' team,and the promotion of the construction of the innovation and entrepreneurship culture.
