On The Function Of Ideological And Political Education Of School Ritual Activities

Ceremony is the oldest and ever-reaching cultural phenomenon in human history.As an activity carrier,school ritual activity is a normative activity in this special field.It uses the symbolic procedural performance to mobilize the emotion and motivation of the ceremony participants,and plays a subtle influence on the ceremony participants.The school ritual activities have five main functions of Ideological and political education,which are the mainstream value orientation,moral behavior standard,cohesion of emotional power,political identity formation and educational situation creation,which is of great significance to enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and political education.School ritual activities include three elements: situation,symbol and time and space.Through creating the situation,the value is guided,the interactive field causes emotional resonance,identity under inter subjectivity and the behavioral norms after habitual cultivation.At present,the ideological and political education function of school ritual activities has achieved some results,including the variety of ritual activities,the diversity of information dissemination channels,and the extension of the educational connotation of ritual activities.At the same time,there are still some deficiencies in the ideological and political education function of school ritual activities:the value oriented function of ritual activities is not enough,the enthusiasm of students participating in the ceremony needs to be improved,and the emotional experience of students participating in the ceremony is not good.The main reasons for these problems include: the lack of Ideological and political education elements,the lack of students’ main role in participation,the simplification of some ritual activities,and the weak points in the organization and management of the ritual activities in schools.The ideological and political education function of school ritual activities should be improved from the principles,methods and paths.In the principle of promotion,we should adhere to the principle of subjectivity,pertinence,inspiration and coordination.In the specific methods of promotion,we should grasp the power of situational infection to promote value internalization,properly guide students to gather emotional energy,promote their habit formation in the interactive field,and ritual activities should have both form and content to better meet the practical experience of ritual participants.In the basic path of promotion,we should promote students’ recognition of the function of ritual activities,promote the connotation construction of school ritual activities,improve the relevant guarantee mechanism of school ritual activities,and build a network platform for school ritual activities.
