People are the main body of historical activities,and history teaching is inseparable from historical figures.However,characters,as a teaching resource,are easy to be ignored by the majority of history teachers,which makes the history class become boring.Therefore,it is particularly important to find the absent "people" and make full use of the teaching resources.The teaching method with "characters" as the main line is that teachers use the teaching resources of characters to explore the innovative form of history teaching.Combining with the existing practical cases of frontline teaching.The new curriculum reform emphasizes that teachers should "teach with textbooks",not just "teach textbooks".In essence,the teaching method with "characters" as the main line is that the teacher selects the appropriate main line characters,organically integrates the life experience of the characters with the content of the textbook,and enables students to study history through the experiences of characters."Character",as the main line of teaching,can connect the fragmentary knowledge points together,which is helpful for students to upgrade from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge,which is consistent with the psychological characteristics and cognitive level of junior high school students.Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview with some junior middle school history teachers in Jiangsu province,most teachers hold positive attitude towards this teaching method,but there are still some problems in the practical application process:the main character selection is not accurate;the characters are jumbled or thin;the form of history teaching is relatively unitary.The existence of these problems is closely related to the limitation of the applicable scope of this teaching method,the limitation of textbook arrangement and the lack of teachers' ability are closely related.Due to the layout characteristics of junior middle school history textbook "bringing people with things" and the complexity of teaching contents,the teaching method with"characters" as the main line is not suitable for every class.Teachers need to read the teaching materials,comprehensively consider the course content of the time span,whether involved in important people,people's life experience is easy to collect and other factors,carefully choose this teaching method.After deciding to adopt this teaching method,the first problem is to find the main character.Teachers can try to find the main character from curriculum standards,textbooks,extracurricular resources,students' interests,virtual characters and other ways.How to effectively combine the characters' life experience with the content of the textbook is another difficult problem faced by history teachers.In combination with the existing practice cases of front-line teachers,the author proposes the following strategies:first,in the course introduction,teachers can set suspense according to the unique experience in the life experience of the characters to stimulate students' interest in the characters.Secondly,teachers can combine the content of the textbook to divide the characters' life experience into several important stages and boldly integrate the textbook to achieve a perfect combination of the two.Finally,teachers should supplement character details in various ways and let students feel the background of The Times by relying on character experience.Through video,character biography,memoir and other forms to enrich the character image,let students enter the character psychology,feel what the character think,students in the process of the role of empathy and understanding of the character,cultivate the ability of objective evaluation of historical characters,also improve the history of junior high school humanities atmosphere.
