| At present,depression is one of the common psychological problems faced by teenagers,which greatly increases the risk of suicide.In recent years,with the rise of positive psychology,the influence of mindfulness on depression has become the focus of scholars' research.However,how mindfulness affects depression needs further study.Theoretical studies have found that ruminant thinking is an important factor affecting depression.This study explored the role of ruminant thinking in the impact of mindfulness on depression in high school students.Based on the review of relevant literature,this study explored the relationship between high school students' mindfulness level and depression,and introduced ruminant thinking as an intermediate variable to analyze the relationship between the three.It is expected to provide a basis for educators and parents in the process of educational practice,help high school students to alleviate depression,improve their mental health,and form a sound personality.Four high schools in three cities,Zhengzhou,Xinmi and Llankao county,were surveyed with the mindfulness-attention awareness scale,ruminant thinking response scale and flow center depression scale.A total of 800 students in grade one and grade two were surveyed,and 757 valid questionnaires were collected.Descriptive analysis,single sample t-test,independent sample t-test,correlation analysis and other statistical methods were used to test the mediating effect.The specific research results are as follows:First,on the whole,more or less high school students have depression,the overall level is above average;There were significant gender differences in the total score of depression and the two dimensions of depression mood and interpersonal relationship,among which the score of female students was higher than that of male students.The total score of depression and the four dimensions of depression emotion,positive emotion,interpersonal,somatic symptoms and activity retardation were significantly different in grade.In the residential area,the total score of depression and the three dimensions of positive emotion,interpersonal,somatic symptoms and activity retardation were significantly different,among which the score of rural students was higher than that of urban students.There was a significant difference in whether the positive emotion was singleton or not.Second,the overall level of high school students' mindfulness is above average.There was nosignificant difference between the sexes;There was a significant difference in grade,the level of mindfulness of grade 1 students was lower than that of grade 2 students.There are significant differences in residential areas,urban students are higher than rural students;There was a significant difference between singleton and non-singleton,and the level of mindfulness of singleton children was higher than that of non-singleton children.High school students ruminate at a medium level;There were significant gender differences in the total score of ruminant thinking and the two dimensions of ruminant symptoms and ruminant reflection,and the score of female students was higher than that of male students.Ruminant thinking and symptoms rumination and forced thinking of senior high school students were significantly different in grade.The score of senior high school students was higher than that of senior high school students.The cud dimensions of symptoms were significantly different in residential areas.There was no significant difference in the total score of ruminant thinking and its dimensions.Fourth,there is a significant negative correlation between high school students' mindfulness level and depression.There was a significant negative correlation between the level of mindfulness and ruminant thinking in high school students.Rumination in high school students significantly positively predicted depression.Fifth,ruminant thinking plays a part in mediating between mindfulness levels and depression.Based on the above research results,the following educational implications are proposed:First,take targeted measures to improve the level of high school students' mindfulness.Second,reduce ruminant thinking and reduce the incidence of depression.Third,pay attention to high school students' depression. |
