With the development of the times and the needs of society,people are increasingly recognizing the important role of sports in cultivating and shaping modern people.Therefore,the requirements for sports are no longer limited to exercising and strengthening physical fitness.It can be said that sports has become an all-round development education.An important part of the core is the indispensable core literacy of contemporary student development.As a guiding document for physical education curriculum,physical education curriculum standards have an important impact on physical education and its reform.Therefore,this article will sort out and analyze the latest published PE curriculum standards from China and the United States to help people understand the current status of the latest PE curriculum standards in China and the United States.Through comparative research,it is helpful to find out the shortcomings of China's current physical education curriculum standards.It draws lessons from the excellent curriculum reform experience in the United States to provide inspiration for the revision of China's curriculum standards,and promotes the revision and improvement of curriculum standards in China.This article selects China's 2011 edition of the "Sports and Health Curriculum Standards" and the United States "National standards&grade-level Outcomes for K-12 Physical Education" as the research object,using the literature data method,comparative research method,text analysis method,logic analysis method from three Research on various aspects:First,through the literature review,to understand the history and background of the development of sports curriculum standards in the two countries.Secondly,based on the standard texts of the two countries' curriculum standards,through text analysis and comparative study,the revision background,curriculum objectives,course content and course evaluation of the two countries'physical education curriculum standards are compared and analyzed accordingly,and the similarities and differences between the two standards of physical education curriculum are summarized..Finally,by summarizing the similarities and differences between the standards of physical education curriculum in the two countries,reflecting on the shortcomings of the standards of physical education curriculum in China,summed up and put forward the enlightenment of the revision of physical education curriculum standards in China.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:domestic education reform and social demand promote the reform of physical education curriculum standards;the curriculum objectives and content of China's physical education curriculum standards are not prominent;the curriculum evaluation of China's physical education curriculum standards needs to be improved.Based on comparison and analysis,this study proposes the following suggestions:linking the objectives of physical education curriculum with students' careers and employment;focusing on the content of physical education curriculum;attaching importance to the training of sports skills;laying the foundation for sports for lifelong sports.
