With the propulsion of curriculum reform in basic education,the three-level curriculum management mechanism has been formed.Accordingly,the kindergarten has changed its role from the previous passive executor.Moreover,the kindergarten principal is not the original simple "administrative administrator" any longer,but "the curriculum leader".In this way,the curriculum construction has become an important topic in the kindergarten's development,among which the principal is the main superintendent of the curriculum.The level of curriculum leadership will directly affect the quality of the kindergarten's curriculum.In The Professional Standard for Kindergarten Principals enacted in 2015,it was clearly proposed that the kindergarten principal should fully perform the working responsibility of the kindergarten leader as well as the kindergarten management in the construction and development of the kindergarten.The kindergarten principal must be the professional personnel of these two tasks,who must adhere to the advanced managing philosophy and educational philosophy when running the kindergarten.Moreover,when working,the principal should have prominent executive power and leadership.Among those,the curriculum leadership is just the core of the kindergarten principal's leadership,which is also the fundamental guarantee of improving the kindergarten's education quality.Namely,the curriculum leadership of the kindergarten principal is the key factor to affect the kindergarten's curriculum reform and practice;how to improve the curriculum leadership of the kindergarten principal is an unavoidable problem in the kindergarten's curriculum construction.How to run a kindergarten well from the perspective of the curriculum? Its fundamental is to improve the principal's own curriculum leadership.The principal should use his or her professional literacy to plan the orientation of the park,and establish a shared kindergarten culture with democratic leadership style.Moreover,the principal should take the young children as the main body,attach great importance to the teachers' professional growth,cultivate excellent teaching staff,integrate excellent curriculum resources inside and outside the kindergarten,and go forward through cooperation to develop the kindergarten'scurriculum.In the field of pre-school education in China,the private kindergarten is an important component as well as the backbone force,whose quality has a great influence on the development of the whole preschool education.Therefore,under the situation of the private kindergarten,this research takes Principal D of H private kindergarten in C City as the research object,collects the data by means of the interview and observation on the principal and teachers,and conducts an analysis and reorganization.It also describes and analysis Principal D's curriculum leadership as well as the curriculum leadership behavior,analyzes the advantage of Principal D's curriculum leadership exertion as well as the existing dilemma and causes,summarizes the excellent qualities which the excellent curriculum leader should own,and puts forward many strategies to optimize the curriculum's leadership.This thesis is divided into four parts as follows:The first part is the introduction.This part gives the introduction mainly from the following contents: the research background,the research significance,the current research situation on this topic at home and abroad,and the specific research mentality and research methods of this topic.Meanwhile,it overviews the data collection and collation work in this research project.The second part: Definition of core concepts and theoretical basis.The author defines three core concepts--private kindergarten,leadership,and the principal's curriculum leadership.Secondly,It expounds the specific contents of the curriculum's genesis view,the distributed leadership theory,and the learning organization theory,which lays a theoretical foundation for this research.Finally,it clarifies the contents of the principal's curriculum leadership of this research.The third part: Case study,Taking H kindergarten in C City as an example,It elaborately expounds H kindergarten as well as its curriculum development.Then,in the development of kindergarten curriculum,it describes in detail specific level of five aspects(the curriculum organization structure,the curriculum organization culture,the teachers' strength of the curriculum,the integration leadership of curriculum resources,and the curriculum's professional and technical leadership)in this kindergarten's development and in-depth analysis how this principal promotes the curriculum construction of this kindergarten.The fourth part :Summarize the whole thesis and puts forward suggestions.It analyzesthe successful experience of Principal D's curriculum leadership as well as the difficulties and causes of influencing her leadership's exertion.According to the excellent qualities of the Principal D,this thesis summarizes the quality which the excellent curriculum leadership should own,and then it puts forward many suggestions for the continuous optimization and promotion for the curriculum leadership of the private kindergarten principal so as to provide references for other private kindergarten principals.
