With the vigorous development of preschool education, private kindergarten in the whole pre-school education occupies important position is not only supplement to the public schools, has also become a preschool education system an important part. Preschool education stage action plans to achieve results, under the support of national policy, private kindergarten has a unprecedented development. Among them, by the end of 2014, Sichuan Province private kindergarten accounted for by a number of proportion of 82.5%, in the preschool education position thus, accelerate the private kindergarten principals’ professional development is directly related to the province’s pre-school education in the development process.In the theoretical implications of professional development, this study uses empirical research and investigation of Sichuan Province private kindergarten the principal professional development. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the reason of choosing the topic, the significance of the research, the literature review and the definition of the core concept. In the second chapter, the questionnaire survey and interviews, selected from the Sichuan Province of the four urban districts of city, Suining, Nanchong, Guang’an City private kindergarten, from the four dimensions of the questionnaire that professional understanding and awareness, knowledge and professional, professional ability and behavior, professional degree and four aspects of security, focus on the investigation of the status of the professional development and existing problems. The third chapter in-depth analysis of private kindergarten principals’ professional development problems and the reasons, such as professional knowledge is not clear, the philosophy of education needs to be changed, not a solid professional knowledge and need to be improved; professional ability is not high, actions to be implemented; professional institution is not perfect, the social security should follow up.The fourth chapter from the perspective of philosophy, the development of things is always influenced by subjective factors and objective factors, put forward to promote the private kindergarten professional development strategy reasonable. First, enhance professional awareness, rational understanding of the role of self. Second, the growth of professional knowledge, leading the professional development of kindergarten teachers. Third, improve professional ability, professional skills training. Director of education, management and leadership. Fourth, improve the professional system, social security. The professional system of establishment and implementation of national, local government, kindergarten three aspects closely, indispensable, only the joint force to promote professional development of private kindergarten.
