Research On The Construction Of College Students' Self-identity Under The New Media Field

Self-awareness is the core issue that has always been philosophers' thought.The college students are in the "plugging stage" and the key period for the formation of self-identity in life,which require the careful guidance and cultivation of College Ideological and Political.Using Marxist self-identity theory to comparative analysis the influence of media patterns in different historical periods on individual self-identity,we can find that the Internet as the representative of the new media provides individuals with a new experience and rich self-construction resources.New media is not only a technology but also a way of life and thinking,which has a comprehensive and profound impact on the self-identification of people,especially on young college students.On the one hand,"technical empowerment","virtual interaction","image collage","fragmented survival" and "symbol consumption" in the new media field,will have a corresponding impact on college students' self-awareness,self-development,self-presentation,self-integration and self-realization,and bring a series of new challenges to College Ideological and Political Education.On the other hand,new media also provides abundant resources and brand-new environment for the construction of college students' self-identity,provides an effective way for College Ideological and Political Educators to grasp the ideological trend and characteristics of college students' self-identity,and provides a new field for the effective development of College Ideological and Political Education.It is required that College Ideological and Political Education should actively seek the best combination with new media technology,and skilled use of it.College Ideological and Political Education should be guided by Marxist theory,supplemented by foreign related identity theory,help college students to construct positive self-identity,encourage them to grow as talents needed by the time.So as to enhance the effectiveness of College Ideological and Political Education.Specifically,universities should follow the logic of college students'self-identity,cultivate college students' network subject consciousness and enhance their self-cognitive ability;strengthen the construction of new media in colleges and universities,guiding the development of college students' false and harmonious,guide the students to develop in a false and harmonious manner;enhance the role model demonstration and lead the students to make rational self-presentation in the new media field;cultivate and practice the core values of socialism to help university students integrate themselves effectively in the new media field;strengthen the education of ideas and beliefs,and lead the realization of college students' self-worth with the Chinese dream.
