Research On The Guidance And Education Of College Students' Herd Mentality In Network Environment

Herd mentality is a general psychological state existing in the college student group.Herd mentality is divided into a positive herd mentality and negative herd mentality.With the rapid development of the Internet,a network with characteristics such as virtuality,freedom,and extensiveness has brought great convenience to college students,and has also brought challenges to college students who have not yet formed complete value and lead their herd mentality to generate some new features and problems.This paper analyzes and studies the herd mentality of college students in the network environment,and explores new strategies for correctly guiding and educating herd mentality in the new environment to help college students avoid the generation of negative herd mentality and promote positivherd mentality.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the definition,classification and influence factors of the concept of herd mentality.First of all,to explain "cong" and "zhong" from the perspective of Shuo Wen Jie Zi and Ci Hai,combining the domestic and foreign scholars' understanding of the concept of herd mentality,the two basic concepts of "conformity" and "herd mentality" are analyzed and concluded,which is pointed out that this is a two-sided psychological phenomenon.Secondly,classifying herd mentality in the network environment--herd mentality can be divided into the rational herd mentality and the irrational herd mentality.The rational herd mentality includes three forms of following,obedience,compliance.The irrational herd mentality is blind compliance.On this basis,the two concepts of "herd mentality" and "minority effect" are compared to make the related concepts clearer,and then the uniqueness of the network heard mentality is analyzed.Finally,the influential factors of the herd mentality of college students in the network environment are analyzed,including information and normative influences,groupfactors,individual factors,and situational factors.The second part is to analyze the current situation,causes and impacts of herd mentality of college students in the network environment.First of all,analyzing the questionnaires and samples,and comprehensively grasp the basic situation of the questionnaires and samples.Secondly,this paper analyzes the current situation of herd mentality of college students in a network environment with a questionnaire.To analyze and discover the phenomenon of college students' network dependence and network herd mentality through data integration,we can find: Although college students can have a correct grasp of herd mentality,there are still problems such as strong network dependence and frequent herd mentality,etc.And it summarizes and analyzes the concrete performance of college students'herd mentality.On the one hand,in the actual environment,the actual performance of college students'herd mentality includes learning,job selection,morals,love,consumption,and group forming,etc.On the other hand,under the network environment,the concrete manifestations of college students'herd mentality are blind followers,rational silencers,and interest-driven speculators.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons for the herd mentality of college students in the network environment.There are four main rea sons:The first reason is the influence of traditional culture,the second reason is the influence of the social environment,the third reason is the unique influence of the network,and the fourth reason is the cause of college students themselves.Finally,it analyzes the influence of college students'mentality in the network environment.The positive influence brought by the herd mentality of college students is conducive to the development of ideological and political education,the internalization of college students'social and moral norms and the externalization of behavior habits,and the further development of college students'interpersonal relationships into society.The negative impact of herd mentality on college students is not conducive to the formation of good ideological and behavioral habits,innovation ability and moral responsibility of college students.The third part is the countermeasure research on the herd mentality of college students under the network environment.First of all,using the new media to correctly guide the herd mentality of college students.On the one hand,the "agenda-setting" theory is used to combine institutionalized regulation with non-institutionalized regulation,strengthen the industry's self-discipline of network media,improve the ethics of network communication,and manage the way of network communication to correctly guide online public opinion.On the other hand,using the "silent spiral" theory to focus on local superior opinions and construct a network public opinion management and guidance mechanism to grasp the correct herd mentality.We also need to strength the network literacy education of college students by strengthening the university student network bottom line thinking,network media literacy theory and practice education and strengthening the awareness of network self-discipline of college students.Secondly,through the psychological guidance of college students,the education of herd mentality among college students should be strengthened.—On the one hand,college students' psychological health education and group normative psychological education are carried out on the Internet to strengthen their psychological quality education and psychological quality construction.On the other hand,by strengthening the role of gatekeepers in the network,cultivating correct value-oriented network leaders,giving play to the role of models,the model effect is strengthened.We also need to strengthen the self-efficacy and self-consciousness education of college students.Finally,a multi-pronged approach should be taken to comprehensively guide and educate college students about herd mentality.Firstly,strengthening the construction of campus network culture by developing an excellent campus culture,giving play to the guiding role of classes and dormitories,and constructing a campus moral education scientific system,a good education environment can be created.Secondly,the emphasison family education and the self-confidence of college students should be strengthened through ways of enhancing educational awareness,improving education methods,and strengthening home and school co-education.Thirdly,the formal group should be regulated,and the informal group should be given full play of leading roles.Fourthly,cultivating the college students' physiological thinking,tempering the moral character of college students,the comprehensive quality of college students' networks should be strengthened.
