Junior middle school is in a critical period of physical and mental development.During this period,junior middle school students will face a variety of problems.For example,social anxiety in interpersonal communication is one of the psychological problems with high probability.In order to have an optimistic attitude to face life and study,improve the ability to deal with negative emotions,promote the individual's mental health development,promote the individual's mental resilience in the face of others' negative evaluation,difficulties and setbacks,so as to improve the students' ability to deal with problems.Therefore,this study aims to explore the relationship between junior middle school students' fear of negative evaluation,and social anxiety,and to provide theoretical support for relevant research on social anxiety of junior middle school students.In this study a junior middle school of 751 students in Jinan in Shandong province as the subjects,with Chen Zhiyan research in the 2002 revision of the negative fear scale(short version),Hu Yueqin,Gan Yiqun in 2008,the youth mental resilience scale,Leary of establishment and interaction anxiety scale(IAS)as measuring tools,using SPSS20.0,Amos23.0for data entry and processing.To explore the relationship between fear of negative evaluation,psychological resilience and social anxiety and the mediating effect of psychological resilience between fear of negative evaluation and social anxiety.Conclusions:(1)There were significant gender differences in the total scores of negative evaluation fear and social anxiety in junior middle school students,but there were no significant differences in grade and place of origin.The level of mental resilience showed significant gender differences in the two dimensions of "emotion control" and "goal focus",while the total score of mental resilience and other dimensions showed no significant gender differences.There was only significant grade difference in the dimension of "family support",but no significant grade difference in the dimension of "total score of mental resilience" and other dimensions.In terms of students' origin,the mental resilience level of junior middle school students showedsignificant difference only in the dimension of "positive cognition",while the total score of mental resilience and other dimensions showed no significant difference.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between junior middle school students' fear of negative evaluation and psychological resilience and its dimensions,and a significant positive correlation with social anxiety.There is a significant negative correlation between junior middle school students' mental resilience and its dimensions and social anxiety.(3)The results of the mediating analysis show that mental resilience plays a partial mediating role between fear of negative evaluation and social anxiety.
