Research purposes:Human development in childhood is one of the most important stages throughout human growth.5-6 years old is the early stage of childhood and children at this stage are at a critical point of growth and development, defrned by different growth and development features.Following children's psychological and physical development characteristics, recreational gymnastics helps children practice body activities of their own physiological characteristics through dance exercises, queue conversion and equipment use, supplemented by music tracks of different rhythmic forms.Recreational gymnastic exercises allow children to understand basic gymnastics knowledge, and also lays solid foundation for children's healthy growth, which helps to establish good physical fitness and improve children's cognitive ability.Of relevant researches on physical fitness capabilities of the human body, few studies are conducted the effects of recreational gymnastics on physical coordination. Therefore, this thesis,by studying recreational gymnastics,is aimed to analyze the way recreational gymnastics improves children's physical coordination and hence to provide practical experience and theoretical basis for physical education.Research method:In this paper,a combination of theory and practice is carried out by adopting methods such as literature, test, experiment, and mathematical statistics. The effect of recreational gymnastics on the physical coordination of children aged 5-6 years was taken as the research target.Research process:Indicators of the physical coordination of children aged 5-6 was screened by 9 experts and coaches based on the indicators in previous studies. Finally, through expert survey and actual measurement methods, six scientific and reasonable indicators were selected.Experiments were conducted in Yunzhen Gymnastics Club,Yizheng City,Yangzhou City,Jiangsu Province.Experiment objects are 24 children aged 5-6,including 12 children aged 5 among them 6 males and 6 females, and 12 children aged 6 among them 6 males and 6 females.Among them children aged 5 performed exercises of recreational gymnastics for 12 weeks(twice a week,90 minutes per lesson). The controlgroup consists of 20 5-year-old children randomly selected in a kindergarten in Yangzhou City, mainly in form of kindergarten physical education classes without other system training. The test indicators include upper-limb coordination of aming and throwing with the left hand and the right hand and ball receiving with two hands,lower-limb coordination of one-foot square jumping and crosswalking and full-body coordination of asymmetrical slap and the two-legged rope skipping.Physical coordination indicators were tested before and after the experiment. The data obtained were collated and analyzed with SPSS 20.0.Research results:(1)After 12 weeks of exercises of recreational gymnastics, group 1 and control group are different significantly in the abilities of aming and throwing with left hand in terms of upper limb coordination indicator(P<0.01).There showed outstanding differences in test indicators of aiming and throwing with right hand and with both hands(P<0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of exercises of recreational gymnastics, great changes have been seen in both group 1 and control group in crosswalking and one-legged square jumping(P<0.01)in terms of lower-limb coordination indicator(3)After 12 weeks of exercises of recreational gymnastics, great changes have been seen in group 1 and control group in two-legged ropes skipping(P<0.01)and asymmetrical taps with both hands(P<0.05)in terms of full-body coordination index.(4)There exists significant differences between group 1 and group 2 in aiming and throwing with the left hand and right hand(p<0.01)in terms of upper-limb coordination indicator,in two-legged rope skipping(p<0.05)in terms of full-body coordination indicator. There is no eminent difference between the two groups after analyzing the results of experiments on ball receiving with both hands in terms of upper-limb coordination indicator,one-foot square jumping and crosswalking in terms of the lower limb coordination indicator and two-handed asymmetrical slap in terms of full-body coordination indicator(p>0.05).Analysis conclusion:(1)12-week exercises of recreational gymnastics can foster the development of upper-limb coordination of 5-year-old children.(2)12-week exercises of recreational gymnastics can foster the development oflower-limb coordination of 5-year-old children.(3)12-week exercises of recreational gymnastics can foster the development of full-body coordination of 5-year-old children.(4)1-year recreational gymnastic exercises can foster the development of upper-limb coordination,lower-limb coordination and full-body coordination of 6-year-old children.(5)After 1 year of the exercises of recreational gymnastics, children aged 6 have received more even development in physical coordination. They are more better than children aged 5 in control group in aming and throwing in terms of upper-limb coordination indicator and two-legged rope skipping in terms of full-body coordination indicator.
