In the 2020s,tourism supply and consumption have been continuously upgraded,and tourist consumption awareness has been continuously strengthened.As children become social people with certain economic capabilities and social status,their family structure also gradually changed from "young parents with baby children" to "middle-aged parents with adult children" type,and children began to become an important subject of family decision-making.Unlike past generational relationships,with the continuous updating of information technology and transportation options,the ability of younger generations to acquire information and resources improves faster.And they are less dependent on parents in the process of making progress.More and more young children maintain a certain physical living distance from their parents in their lives,and do their filial piety by tourisming with their parents or buying tourism products for their parents,but sometimes there are situations that parents are not completely satisfied with their children's decisions,in which the children also have many regrets.Beside the preference differences among generations,communication has certain influence on this question.This study combines experimental methods and questionnaires into the study on interactive process and results of family tourism decision-making behaviors.The pre-experiments explores the factors that are worthy of attention in empirical research.It finds that the communication has a significant impact on family tourism decision-making.The important experience variable—well-being derived from interviews.This study established hypotheses based on planned behavior theory,and invloved variables such as dual filial piety,parent-child communication,family tourism decision-making satisfaction and well-being into research categories,with the purpose of opening up the"black box" of tourist family decision-making processes and exploring the children-leading influencing factors for family decision-making.Through the observation and analysis of the experimental process,as well as the model and hypothesis test,the changes and differences of the family tourism decision-making process and the outcome variables are investigated,and the mediation effect analysis and model test are conducted.Here are the conclusions of the study.(1)The dualistic filial piety beliefs have varying degrees of direct and indirect effects on the satisfaction and well-being of family tourism decisions.The belief of mutual filial piety directly affects the satisfaction and well-being of family tourism decision-making.The authoritative filial piety does not directly affect the satisfaction of family tourism decision-making.It can only affect the two dependent variables through parent-child communication as the mediator.(2)The openness of parent-child communication in the process of family decision-making can significantly mediate the filial piety beliefs and the satisfaction and well-beings of family tourism decision-making,and play a role in accordance with the"attitude-behavior intention-behavior" path to improve family tourism decision-making.(3)The effectiveness of parent-child communication can only partially mediate the satisfaction and well-being of mutual filial piety beliefs and family tourism decision-making.With the strong effect of authoritative filial piety beliefs,communication cannot play a mediating role to improve family tourism decision-making satisfaction and well-being.Only could the belief of mutual filial piety improve the efficiency of problem solving in communication.(4)There is a certain difference between the satisfaction and happiness of family travel decision-making.The average of satisfaction is higher than happiness.The correlation between satisfaction and mutual filial piety belief and the correlation between happiness and authoritative filial piety belief is higher.Good communication will effectively mediate the relationship between filial piety beliefs and family tourism decision-making satisfaction and well-being.Therefore,parents and children should create an open discussion environment.Tourism enterprises need to innovate tourism products,change the idea of marketing promotion,and provide family tourists with more adequate time-spatial planning and design in order to facilitate communication and sharing between parents and children.The product with characteristics of family tourism,aiming at expanding the market segment of tourism products,can finally improve the satisfaction and well-being of family tourism.
