With the rapid development of mobile network and information technology,it is a trend for tablet computer to serve the main classroom of education and teaching.With the promotion of the new curriculum reform,the importance have been attached importance again,but in the actual teaching activities,many problems and difficulties have been encountered.To explore how to effectively integrate tablet computer with biology classroom teaching,it should be studied as an important subject to develop students' scientific inquiry abilities.The purpose of the research is to explore how to cultivate and improve students' abilities of scientific inquiry under the teaching environment of tablet computer,and to form an effective teaching system or strategy.First of all,this paper summarizes the relevant concepts,general processes and specific requirements of scientific inquiry ability.Secondly,questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate students and teachers' use of tablets,emotional attitudes and students' abilities.Then,combining the teaching advantages of tablet computer,we explore effective strategies to improve the scientific inquiry abilities.Finally,using the experimental research method,the teaching strategy is applied to the specific teaching cases,and the teaching experiment is carried out to test the influence of tablet computer inquiry teaching on the development of students' ability.Through the field investigation of the practice school,it is found that,the teachers and students are willing to continue to use the tablet computer,and the students already have a certain scientific inquiry ability.On this basis,according to the specific requirements of each dimension of scientific inquiry ability in teaching,the general process of scientific inquiry is summarized,and the teaching mode suitable for the teaching environment of tablet computer,included:(1)problem-solving teaching mode(2)task-driven teaching mode(3)flipping classroom inquiry teaching mode.Put into teaching practice,the results show that the biological scores of the experimental class have been greatly improved,and then the scores of the experimental questions in the test paper are statistically analyzed and realistic: the reason for the improvement of the test class is the higher score of the experiment topic.In short,the introduction of tablets into biology classroom,flexible use of various teaching models,so that the level of scientific inquiry have been greatly improved.In a teaching environment,the teaching mode embodies the "student-centered",which accords with the teaching idea of the new curriculum reform;the teaching scaffold provided by tablet computer runs through the whole teaching process,and plays an important role before class;the abundant teaching resources help to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability;the one-to-one learning environment constructed by tablet computers helps to cultivate students' high-level thinking.
